THERE IS NO WAY 2 PEOPLE (vamps) SHOULD BE ABLE TO WIPE OUT AN ENTIRE ZERG

For those saying that reflective scales stop all ranged dps.... how? I thought it was only supposed to reflect spell projectiles. Are you saying silverbolts and snipe count as spell projectiles? This hasn't been my experience hitting these silly vamps in PVP. They heal up ok but bow-sniping from stealth with morphed expert hunter can hit them big (no chance of killing them when they're healing off a zerg though) - and I haven't noticed any hurt from it. Perhaps they didn't have it active.

I don't get anywhere near them because sitting in a zerg bubble is just asking for vamp death at the moment but I should still be taking damage if reflective scales saved them from my ranged skills. And I don't seem to be. Can anyone clarify this? It's ridiculous as it is but if everything ranged that's not a default attack counts as a spell projectile then it's even more absurd.

I've been told, a couple times, that Silver Bolts and the Bow attacks do count as spell attacks for reflective scales. And I've seen Batpires bragging about how silver bolts can reflect and then proc on their owner because the target is a vampire. But, I don't have a dragon knight, so I can't verify this, though. As I'm reading the skill, I can't think that's intentional.

Of course it can't be intentional. It's absurd. An arrow or a silver bolt as a spell projectile is nuts. Anything that requires stamina is not a spell. These aren't even class abilities - they're straight up weapon abilities as a bow and fighter's guild abilities all require stamina also.

I'm still not certain that it's true as I've done some massive crits with snipe+ranger on a zerg-pounding vamp and never taken damage yet. And I've never seen anyone fall on their butt silverbolting a DKvamp. I'll have to put it to the test. I know skills are broken and tooltips are misleading but that one is just beyond stupid if true.

Saw that *** happen, and for all those smartasses that stated in the begining of thread that silverbolts or balistas or "learn to play" would help i could say only one thing: NO. Because you obviosly dont know what you are talking about, Nightblade got splendid skill called Siphoning Attacks, which if lucky enough can keep him in combat for a very long time. So i was spamming silver bolts with another bunch of cc spells like Volcanic Rune and Terror right at him and it has like no effect at all. Since if he gets knocked down or pulled in a mid air HP's arent falling down, and if they do - mist form, BANG.
Socond is, every zerg has its own new ppl, they just got here, dont dont exactly understand what is happening whatsoever, and you cant expect them to. And they always keep coming, right at bat swarm. More over that, the animation of it doesnt give off much of dangerousness, when i first time saw it i presumed it was some weather effect lol.

I have yet to see Silver Bolts reflect back on me.
The problem is more that Silver Bolts is worthless against vampires running to a zerg. You will not simply be able to knock him down.

Let's assume Silverbolts hits every time. (it doesn't) Is that 250 dmg (+9%) really gonna finish the fight? Give me a break.

Will SOMEONE- ANYONE- in an official capacity please comment on this? Jesus, this is getting absurd. This thread and innumerable others have been floating around since near launch about these issues.

To be fair, when I was commenting, it still sounded like the issue was they couldn't de-stealth the vampires. Clarity came later. Magelight still scares the crap out of Batman, though.

Well, at least I know now that once I am done with the quests and storyline that I will be finished with the game since I have no desire to join "Team Edward" and do not want to have carry "mandatory" skills on me to combat the legions of undead in Cyrodiil.

    Thanks.
It's as I have always said, "You can get more results with a kind word and a big stick, than you can with merely a kind word."

The AoE cap that's on the PTS right now, should take this out at the knees. For whatever that's worth.

I watched the YouTube vids, and I witnessed this for myself yesterday on Auriel's Bow. vamp with ultimate reduction spamming mistform surrounded by 40+ people taking no damage. Myself and a few others were spamming heals on our side, and he didn't budge an inch. This went on for hours. The video above is exactly what it looked like. It's a game breaker.

I'd like to see ESO implement Vigiliant of Stendarr because the amount of vamps I see attempting to emulate this is ridiculous.

The Vamps are in mode, they get down brave players in PvP like shake hands with the devil. Hundreds of them and some say, please take silverbolets to them, nothing happens.
So make a antypart of them and let see how clever are them.
ESO-Dev. only do the same, if the Game goes out of orders. They put in a OP Char, always the same. This brings money, because they will pay.
For this you will nether have a Chef Dev speaken abouth this, because he must spent all day to count his pays!
OP Vamps will pay for this OP`ness 26 Dollars per month, this is that it is and M.F, who sold DAoC to EA laughs and say: "This is the price, you have to pay to me for!"

I'm a sneaky NON-VAMP NB (broken little soul - still love the potential of the class) and magelight doesn't bother me in the slightest. It doesn't work that well - I certainly never get busted by it. A vamp isn't even going to blink at it. They don't bother with stealth. Batman may like stealth but superman is an open brute.

You know, I was thinking about a possible solution and I came up with one.

Make the vamp ult. count as a feed! When you use the ult. you go back to stage one. Make all vampire passives contingent on vampire rank. BAM! You solve all the balance issues in one swoop.

PVP = Griefers period, its the way they luv to play, its their whole, game. Yes it ruins the game for others, but its the way they enjoy the game. They don't play the PVE side, they will use any and all exploits they find, that is PVP. No one will ever change that.
THE simple fact is some people actually levedup and gained skills
a lv 10 going into pvp will get the health magica and stam boosts for lv 20 but no skills or morphs
so a bunch yelling 2 vamps killed their zerg makes me wish I had popcorn and time to watch the vid of that.

If you would have any idea, how the vampire exploit and bugs work you would abstain from saying nonsense like that. Unless we are counting PASSIVES and 1-2 rotation as skill nowdays.

never mind a fix, why is there not a single comment from Zenimax or ESO on any of the countless threads or even this huge one?
    Resistance is FUtilez
Civilized men are more discourteous than savages because they know they can be impolite without having their skulls split, as a general thing.
Tyranny, like hell, is not easily conquered; yet we have this consolation with us, that the harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph. What we obtain too cheap, we esteem too lightly: it is dearness only that gives every thing its value.

We don't need a fix, but a balance patch. It is in fact working as intended.

If you stack ultimate cost reduction you will be able to spam Bat Swarm.

That's all. No fix needed, it isn't a bug or an exploit. It is just a game mechanic oversight from Zenimax. They just have to balance it, just like they did on the PTS with werewolves and Bloodrage (DKs were constantly under Magma Armor thanks to this combo).

As for the time being, I'm having a blast doing 1v50.

Vampire defender logic at it's best.

I guess that's also working as intended.

Healing in mist form, that states YOU CAN'T BE HEALED is ALSO working as intended for you? No fix needed?

So much doom and gloom I thought you all loved this game, just man up you little princesses and learn how to counter the players using this tactic it's not hard. I thought the point of playing pvp was to have a real challenge. that's what your always saying to the care bears so why all the crying now ?

Everyday this game is going down the toilet until vamps start getting some type of fix, or nerf.

@Zenimax I think you would have made more money calling this game Underworld Online (Vampire Edition)
