No matter if Naryu, Jakarn, Tanlorin or whatever obnoxious "flirty" npc: We really need an option to tell them to leave us alone. Or to give them a slap across their face (or hit them with a brick or whatever - I don't care as long as it's effective).

What spoilers? You clicked on a thread about Tanlorin and you haven't even done the first five minutes of their starter quest? I only just met them and they've hit on my character three times. Don't look now, but Tanlorin also has tattoos.
I don't want pixels in a game making moves on my pixels in the same game.

The thread title is a spoiler already.

Oh for pity's sake. I don't know about Malyore, but y'know, I'm a nearly 80 year old woman, and I can certainly tell when convos have "something more than kindness in mind". They are the same sort of smarmy that Jakarn et al are.

Tanlorin does flirt but it's not as much as Jakarn. I also wouldn't really call them hitting on the adventurer really. They have that says flirty things to everything and everyone vibe. It's not serious.

I don't care for the intention. If it feels obtrusive, it does, and the player character should have an option to react.

they are clearly more into someone else. I won't give spoilers.

I'm not sure if there are cultural differences at play, but when I'm friendly and encouraging towards friends (let alone strangers), I listen to them, consider their worries, tell them my ideas about the situation (if they want to hear them), and try to improve their self-confidence if they're too self-critical. I do not jump on their lap, yell "Hey good-looking!" repeatedly, and invite them into my bathtub.

It really makes me wonder what was going on in the writers room, if the character was written for their own fantasy or if they actually think the characters are charming.
I'll be glad for the introduction of the multiple dialogue choices.

This is why I like Darien. You can lean into the flirting or tell him you're not interested. I'm not a fan of the non-consent the game keeps adding. I'll never get over how terrible High Isle is about that. So many uncomfortable quests... >_<
