    Ok guys, we need some additional information from all of you so we can delve deeper.

    First, we need four files:
    • host.developer log file
    • Launcher.Settings file (located in the \Zenimax Online\Launcher directory)
    • A screenshot of your \Zenimax Online folder or a listing of any subfolders in your \Zenimax Online folder
    • a screenshot of a right click + properties of the The Elder Scrolls Online or The Elder Scrolls Online EU folder to determine the size of the data you currently have.

    Plus answers to these following questions:
    • Which environment were you patching when this happened? NA, EU, PTS?
    • What region are you actually in geographically?
    • What environment(s) are you showing in the patcher? NA, EU, PTS
    • Is this a brand new install or is it being patched up from a previous version?

    Would be nice to have a mod say something about this issue.

    Wish in one hand, and sh!t in the other - see which one going to be filled first.

    Well since a mod posted less than a minute after that request... unless you are a very fast crapper... I am gonna go for wish.

    Oh, mine is the full game. Gonna let it go while I go get dinner. I hope it works correctly later when things go up and I can FINALLY play some of my "early" "access".

    Same problem. Also: If I bypass the launcher and start the game, it tells me I don't have permission to access the server.

    I am pretty sure it would take less time to download and reinstall the game then for me to figure out how to get all these files for you...

    It went through the cycle back to play, I pressed play to load the game and it did. I then closed the launcher.

    My internet takes all night to download a huge patch. Don't want to get the Reinstall thing.

    Yeah, I tried. I can't get the forum to cooperate and even at one point it said I wasn't logged in then timed out logging in, timed out trying to attach files, timed out trying to post this.

    everyone here types in english. so NA and patching up. everyone is having the same problems. its different each time i launch the client. ....sigh.

    For me I got the 45mb patch about 20mins ago, and no problems. Just says Play. Servers down of course :stuck_out_tongue:

    Actually, I can't find either of those two files. And I'm not a computer noob so either they are somewhere they shouldn't be or they don't exist on my computer anymore. In fact, I don't have a "Zenimax Online" folder. I was patching NA, I live in NA, patcher environment was NA, and it is showing a brand new install*.

    To clarify, the game was already installed. After the patch it started completely redownloading the game.

    The game specs say it should take up 60 GB so 53 isn't surprising.

    So far no patching over in EU server (for one customer at least)

    I copied the files over from my EU side which is working fine and then copied the launcher settings from my old US side (which was the exact same size as the EU side before I deleted) and it still giving me the same issue.

    Restarting the launcher made a difference for me. After the patches downloaded and my launcher went into repair mode I went through the repair cycle once before I decided to restart the launcher. Doing this appeared to kick me out of the loop and I ended up with a "Play" button.

    Elder scrolls folder is 30.7 GB
    Game launches from the game folder itself.
    Launcher is borked.

    same here and does your status say "initializing" but is play button is clickable?

    before this patch I think it was only around 30gigs or so...was just surprised by the jump from a couple 45mb patches
