Not sure why but my main often disconnects when trying to exit the Vivec Thieves guild - none of the alts do that. Sometimes get disconnected when trying to port, too.
Occasionally I'll have other disconnects and blips that are like rubber banding - had two last night.

I am getting a weird case similar to that where I can be on one character for a while but the moment I switch characters the game decides to disconnect.
I've noticed that when I open the inventory sometimes or port I get 999+ for a split second. When you login with a new toon does it actually log in or crash while trying to load?
Hi All. The ESO Team has been working on a survey to help us better track your experience when hitting lag spikes, rubberbanding, and general performance dips. The idea of the survey is to collect the same standard of data for our engineers to look at and work on improving your general experience in-game. In addition to English, the survey is available is the following languages: German, French, Spanish, Italian, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, Polish, and Brazilian Portuguese.
You can access the survey link here: https://beth.games/3WJxUMG
If you run into a rough patch while you play, this is the form you should fill out to clearly define your experience. The information goes directly to our engineers who are using the information you send to guide their work. We want to thank everyone in advance for filling out the form and thank our forum community who helped in getting this survey in such a detailed state.
So as to not split the ongoing conversation, if you have comments or follow-up about your experience with lag, rubber-banding, and general performance dips, please go to the existing thread on this topic: Conversation on lag spikes and connection performance.
Just an update here. The survey we posted last Friday has now been edited to allow for multiple entries. So if you run into performance issue, please feel free to use the survey to note your experience. The team has gotten over 500 response so far, so thank you for your feedback and help. They are starting to review the data and see what they can interpret from it to help aid in the investigation.

HAPPY 9 MONTHS (and 12 days) LAG THREAD!Youre growing up to be such a big and strong Post, I couldn't be more proud!
(I barely play these days, not sure how performance has been the last ~2-3 weeks, but last time I did play it wasnt absolutely terrible, but still a long shot from anything I'd call "good" or "acceptable" regarding input delays/world time warps/all the stuff thats been here.)

Hey you welcome back! We actually has a PTS test for 2 hours yesterday that was really fun. I guess some devs were playing too and they were capturing data and what not Gina made a post saying they found a problem that was causing disconnects so fingers crossed thats one less thing that can cause us to drop!

Hey yourself! and thank you ^^ Hopefully whatever they identified can make an impactful difference, it would be great to play without hourly (or more) disconnects, and to maybe not feel like my character is swinging their weapons (or maybe just their brain?) through molasses with the input delays!
Thanks for keeping this thread alive. Whenever im thinking about to return i read this thread for news. Sadly nothing change so far...
keep going on....

@ZOS_Kevin I don't know if its possible or if this is a good idea but since OP is banned is there a way maybe we could put a Dev Edit at the bottom of the post with a quick write up like you did above about filling out the survey?
When people come to this thread from Google (it's often one of the top searches when you do ESO forums or ESO performance) they won't really see the survey unless the go to page 110+. Might be helpful to have it right on the first post.

Over the course of about a minute, the input delay began rapidly increasing and culminated with the kick. Then a bunch of "Lost Lobby Connection" errors while trying to re-join Cyrodiil, which is par for the course when trying to load back into an already existing large-scale fight.
This was also happening to a bunch of others in the group.
I wouldn't say nothing has changed - has the issue been resolved.. no - but the efforts ZoS has been putting towards this are definetly there and that test the other day things felt really good. I have hope we are really close to having a fix fingers crossed.

However, when I went to PvP Cyrodiil the ping became terrible.
And whenever an AD ball group got close an error would occur and the game would end.
After that I moved from PvP Cyrodiil to a PvE zone, but the ping was still terrible.
I think the PvP ball group is doing DDoS.
I'm certain that the ball group is intentionally creating a state similar to DDoS.
There's no doubt that they're at least exploiting a vulnerability in the game.
Yes i read that they doing something but as you wrote "is the problem solved" No. That is the important info for me. I dont install a game when the problem why i kicked it is still there.
The problem is... lol... I think "the problem" isn't just one thing... it''s many micro things that make people think it's one big ol' crappy server when it's really not.
