As someone that was trying to log in when the servers were taken down, I think I came about as close to being in the same boat as I could have been. Restarted my rig twice before heading to the forums to see what happened, and went directly to EU server and found I didn't log all the way in...dodged it very closely. Lol
I would like to offer to any of you any missing style pages (Earthbone Ayleid armor style) from the golden boxes that you missed out on before being locked out. I have between 24-42 of each page on NA, and 14-30 each on EU.
Just leave a reply and after event finished/you are freed, I can meet you in game and give what you missed out on( just not Necrom areas, as I do not own that yet). I also have past ones that you may need so can ask them also.

just want to give a hand if I can.

This is NOT a thread for compensation discussion or drop rates. This is simply a ESO fam, husband and wife gamer couple that would like to offer a little relief..
Please note: I actually do not know a way to determine if anyone is being dishonest, so I'll leave that up to your own level of honor.

While the idea is nice in theory, in practice it's actually pretty hard to find any friend with a spare guild space right now. What I've done for the moment is borrow a friend's guild bank for some extra storage and to help me transfer some items more easily between characters. It's not ideal but I'm making do as best I can. Did get an aetherial dust earlier today and a few more perfect roe. I just know it's way way less than I would be getting on my usual account.

Okay, this might take some coordination, but for the other people locked out who don’t have friends with banks they can borrow: swap invites. Everyone make a bank guild, invite each other’s alt accounts until you get the requisite number of people (ten, I think) to unlock the bank. (I am making the assumption most of you didn’t immediately fill your new alt account’s guild slots.)

What happens to your main account's mail box when the rollback actually happens?

Mailing stuff to your main might just turn into mailing stuff into a black hole.

Good point. My thought was it would just bounce back to the sender as usual, but this is somewhat uncharted territory.

But yes, EU characters shouldn't need to be rolled back because nothing happened on EU that would need a rollback.

I'm not trying to take anything out on you. I don't think the posts loaded correctly so I had no context at all for what you were talking about, but either way linking the word "fine" to any of this is just hard to swallow.

At this point, I'm thinking that the absolute earliest they would schedule the needed maintenance to restore our locked accounts is Thursday at 10:00 AM EDT, right after the Anniversary Jubilee extension ends.

I hope that we hear back from them today about any changes to the compensation, and how it would be handled.

Still in jail. Does this mean my guild sales are vaporised? My tickets unobtainable, so much missed xp and gold. I did want more cake slices...on both NA and EU.

The last information we all got was Gina's post on Monday.

Basically, they're saying Thursday at the earliest (read: not Thursday) to get our accounts back. They'll have to schedule a downtime to roll back our accounts, and I can't imagine the outrage if they put a maintenance up while the event is still going.

I'm hoping Friday though. Monday is a new PTS patch so that's out, and that'll also have been two weeks... which would make us have been locked out for longer than I've seen other accounts have temp bans (for cause!).

All the updates have been here on the forums. I've tried to ask questions from both the "you are locked out" email and the "here is your code" email. Neither have been answered or even responded to. They should at least give you the link to the forums that have the updates.

There are only so many customer support and other employees that can respond, and even if they did, they might not know how long it will be, since there are people still working on it behind the scenes.
I just wish I knew where to send my feedback to them on it on behalf of the locked account, since that one cannot open support tickets.

Yeah, I get that @Anachronian, but it seems the least they could have done is direct us to the forums. Not responding to an email at all, especially for a problem your company has caused, just seems wrong.

I was on PTS last night on my alt, and I saw that the home that I had partially destroyed on PTS with my main account, has now been restored to how it was before the whole PTS issue started.

So I'm assuming they are using PTS to test that the accounts rollbacks and fixes that they are working on, actually work?

Guess we'll know tomorrow (Thursday).

Honestly, I'm just tired at this point.

When we originally got locked out, I was okay with it. I know a lot of people were angry, but I knew that it was a major issue and they'd devote all their resources to fix it because it involved their most ardent supporters. I could wait 2-3 days.

Then until Friday.
Then after the weekend.
Then another four days.
For a chance it'll be done.

I'm done making excuses for this game. I've supported it through so many gamebreaking bugs that affected me personally, and now we've essentially been banned in all but name just because we had the audacity to try to test out their new patch. And then seeing what people are saying on the forums about how we deserve to be locked out because we didn't spend 24/7 grinding those pages (which I'd just finished all five the Saturday before, so I didn't even get to really play the event) has put a damper on everything.

Any excitement I had for Gold Road has completely evaporated. I was going to set up the alt account to just check out PTS, but I'm starting to ask what the point is. What, I'm supposed to offer my services as a beta tester while I wait? I don't need a blank slate account, I want my own account back. With my characters. I spend a lot of time building them to be much more than just tools to run content, so this is really disheartening.

I just bought a Crown pack during the sale before this lockout happened. I preordered Gold Road as soon as I knew Skingrad was coming. I was so hyped to get to it... and now for the first time I'm actually considering getting refunds. This is the second time in less than a year I've been unable to play for weeks (plural) because of a major bug from ZOS's end - at least this time they acknowledged it as an issue, unlike the bug after Necrom that broke quest states for several months.

I suppose we'll get something tomorrow. But I'm not expecting anything more than "we can't do it over the weekend, and then Monday's the next PTS patch, so maybe next Wednesday? Possibly?"

I'm a huge fan of anything Imperial but I am very much considering a refund for Gold Road. Before this I would have had little but nice things to say about ZOS, but the way we've been treated and the fact that we still have no idea when we might get our accounts back is venturing way beyond reasonable at this point.

I think the tough part is we are assuming Thursday is out of the equation. Because if they were doing a Thursday maintenance you think they would post it because they have to announce the down time. The silence has us all assuming that things aren't where they need to be.

Whether or not Thursday is happening, I do think it would be a good decision for them to give us another round of communication. Maybe they already plan to at the end of the day and they are just trying to figure out if they can fit it in or not. But I think the silence is what has people antsy. I think a little more communication would help. Whether its good or bad news.
