Can we please get some more clarification? I'm an affected EU player. Logged NA just to get the daily reward, saw the issue and immediately ticketed it. I then moved back to EU and spent the night playing with some friends. Will what I did on EU be safe or rolled back?

Also there are events running at the moment. Being locked out of an account right now is a huge a loss. It's already necessary to buy 5 parts toward the anniversary horse mount achievement with event tickets. If people are unable to log in for the next 2 or 3 days, due to loss of event vouchers too, that is losing us 4 to 6 parts of the mount. It's also going to mean losing all the bonus endeavors from the thieves guild event.

Is anything going to be done to help those effected recover from this (those of us who did not try to exploit it at least)?

What you did on EU will be safe. As Gina mentioned, rollback is only impacting some on PC NA. As for everything else, we are focusing one thing at a time. We need to make sure we go through all steps of rollback for those involved and work out a few other things. As the update stated, we'll have more to share once we get through these next few steps.

Communicating a plan for full and complete compensation needs to be the #1 priority now.

I'd think restoring accounts to the way they should be would probably be the #1 priority tbh.

Why is everybody being so entitled and demanding? They've extended events for extended maintenance times in the past.
True, it sucks for us who are losing out on future progress, but it will sucks so much more for people who deleted their character (or items) on the pts to make room and are now hoping that everything will be restored properly

This exactly. I deleted a lowbie character to make a template character to see the new cosmetics. I would be so anxious if I deleted my main like possibly some did. The roll back should fix it but, it’s still not a great feeling.

Will our subscriptions that got cancelled be restored as well?

What kind of compensation are we getting?

The players who log on to the PTS day one are mostly made up of the games most devoted players. So keeping them happy is very important. I would hope the Dev's are aware of this as they work though the issue.

On the other hand this seems like it was a serious issue and locking and rolling back your devoted players would not be done unless the situation was extreme. So we have to understand the balance between, 'PTS issue broke Live' and respect those players. Not fixing this right will probably just make things worse.

I was playing Star Trek Online years ago, and their mission creator(the foundry) where players could create their own missions to put into the game, screwed up and starting putting random bits of player created missions into public hubs maps.. that was interesting... and took awhile to fix.

SO point being, the devs should respect the players and proportionally reimburse the players for time lost, and the players should understand that this is a weird issue that's come up and understand it will take time to resolve, and they aren't being 'targeted'. Its just bad luck if you logged in and your account got tangled into this.

PC EU players should not be affected.

Also for any PC NA players that hopped over to PC EU during the downtime, your progress on EU will remain and won't be rolled back.

I'm really glad you noted this, Gina; thank you.

I was pretty upset about this, specifically, because I did hop over to PC/EU because PC/NA was down and I just happened to get the Senche of Scarlet Regret AND Senche Cub of Scarlet Regret for my new alt.

I was going (redacted) bricks if I lost them.

    So true.
I'm waiting with great (even if idle) interest on ZOS's decision about reimbursement. It's going to speak VOLUMES about them as a company.

Please note that some people like me are playing on both PC EU and NA servers (however my main server is PC EU) and are currently afftected with account suspension along with cancelled ESO Plus. It wasn't intented to copy PTS character to NA (I didn't even know about that because I was staying in PTS server). I'm currently prevented from earning new tickets and even opening Account System site.

The people who logged on to check out new furnishings are suspended meaning they cannot finish the anniversary event? That doesnt seem quite fair since it was not their fault that it was messed up in the first place.

I used to think it doesn't make sense when people say that performance PCNA was impacted by PTS being active. Surely the environments were separate. But now I guess maybe not as much as I'd hope.

Soooo ..... Does this mean it also affects EU players who logged into PTS and thus flagged by the system? This means any people who logged into PTS can be locked out? Or does it mean only for those who logged into the PTS AND NA live server?

EDIT: Nevermind. Got confirmation from a friend who got his account locked and got the email even though he only logged into PTS and not NA .... RIP you poor buggers. I hope you guys get a decent compensation out of this ... All those style pages and tickets lost.

    Hi Gina,

Thank you for the update, however PC/EU players are most definitely affected if they logged in on the PTS yesterday.

A couple of members of our guild that jumped on the PTS to have a poke around with the new furnishings and stuff just got the 'suspended' message.

I have a feeling that more reports like that will follow as people try to log in today, I know that some hopped in to check the new trial.

So I think is fair to say that any account that logged in on the PTS yesterday will be flagged, regardless of what server they play in.

This is extremely disruptive for players considering the nature of the current event. I do hope you do right by these players.

You're right, apologies for the confusion. The accounts that have been temporarily locked include anyone that logged onto the PTS after maintenance completed on April 15 (regardless if you play on NA or EU). However, the rollbacks mentioned in the update are primarily affecting PC NA accounts.

I also received an email saying my ESO+ was cancelled while my account is locked. Is this true? If so, will my ESO+ will be restored when this is finished? It's very, very expensive in my currency and I can't afford to renew it a second time in under a few weeks...

My account is suspended for the wierdest reason. I tried to log in to PTS yesterday not knowing it was already taken down for second time that day. So I didn't get to log in, not to mention do character screen or check anything new on PTS. Yet my account is now suspended. If it's gonna take 2 to 3 days to get this sorted it means, I will lose option to get 6 to 9 tickets, 128 to 192 event boxes/crafting daily rewards, ton of surveys, 2 to 3 daily login rewards and 2 to 3 days worth of endeavors losing several hundred seals. Basically getting punished for nothing with no resolution nor compensation in sight.

    Hi,

I would just like to inform that my college is from Italy with EU server and I have never logged into a PTS nor NA server. I tried to make an attempt to connect to an NA server, it informed me of sending a code that never reached my email inbox.
I insert a screenshot of the message I receive.
I can't even log in to my account on the website.

So is this a side affect? When I try to log in it says it sent a code to my email but I haven't gotten any code. So it isn't sending the code so I'm locked out from even trying to log in. I also never logged into the PTS at all so seems my account shouldn't be affected right?

Can't even get into the UE server, same issue, doesn't send the code. Ok so forget this crap. I'll check in a week to see if yall got this nonsense sorted. So much for your anniversary event I guess.

Did you try to close the window for the code and log in again?
I've had it several times, that the window popped up and I could close it and log in normally after. I never got a code in the mail then either.

Yeah a handful of times so that now I'm just getting a general error of login failure. It's fine I'll just go play something else till they get this sorted, maybe I'll try to log in again next weekend.

So, no access code, no logging in, no game at all - NA nor EU. Never downloaded/accessed PTS, did not play NA yesterday (4/15) and not much for the last few weeks, have been on EU mostly. Thought my EU access would be okay but it's not.
