I honestly am not sure. I am not excited about another Imperial zone, Scribing seems interesting but without testing I have absolutely no idea how it’ll be. Also, if they go another year without touching/buffing Necromancer I probably won’t be playing that much anyway.
Definitely, I'm incredibly hyped for Gold Road. But I pre-purchase the deluxe expansion of whatever comes out as a yearly present to myself anyway. It's been a tradition I've kept up for the last 5 years. I don't often buy myself things, but ESO expansions are one thing I truly enjoy, and I like all the bells and whistles that come with the pre-order versions.
Legends never die
They're written down in eternity
But you'll never see the price it costs
The scars collected all their lives
When everything's lost, they pick up their hearts and avenge defeat
Before it all starts, they suffer through harm just to touch a dream
Oh, pick yourself up, 'cause
Legends never die
I'll wait until it's at least 67% off, I'm more interested in the companions, but they won't be available until Q4. I can wait on "scribing" when all the weird balancing and adjustments throughout the year before playing with it. There's nothing really about it that interests me.
I haven't preordered since High Isle and there was nothing in the reveal that would make me break that habit. I will probably do what I did with Necrom - test how things are on PTS and decide whether it's worth buying at full price or discount (or at all). There really isn't anything that appeals to me right now about Gold Road.
buying it in a few days!
i want the mount and pet and everything else included
miaow! i'm Luna ( she/her ).
🌸*throws cherry blossom on you*🌸 "Eagles advance, traveler! And may the Green watch and keep you."
🦬🦌🐰 PlayStation and PC EU.
LunaLolaBlossom on psn.
LunaFloraBlossom on pc.
Of course, I like it now because it's exciting and new but how will I feel in a few months? So far I'm feeling I will preorder but I do not know when. To see it on PTS first is a good choice, especially because I really hated High Isle, but will see if I form an attachment to getting the non-combat pet or not.
PC/NA Dungeoneer (Tank/DPS/Heal), Trialist (DPS/Tank/Heal), and amateur Battlegrounder (DPS) with a passion for The Elder Scrolls lore
CP 2000+
Warden Healer - Arcanist Healer - Warden Brittleden - Stamarc - Sorc Tank - Necro Tank - Templar Tank - Arcanist Tank
Definitely a pre-order for me, though not before before March, 18 as I don't want the wolf pup pet.
PAWS (Positively Against Wrip-off Stuff) - Say No to Crown Crates!. Outfit slots not being accountwide is ridiculous given their price. PC EU/PC NA roleplayer and solo PvE quester
I would add the option: "buy with crowns at a discounted price (Q2 2026ish)".
The Ayleid theme is alluring and there's a promise of a new activity for overland content, but I'm 90% sure the new zone will be the same as all the zones. New skills per weapon is NOT spellcrafting or anything of the like, and there's a 95% chance that all of this "customization" will be like the rest of the systems where the same set, the same trait, the same skill, the same race, the same evrythiiiing will be the meta for all classes, and all for the sake of "balance"...
I'll be around to celebrate 10 years of ESO where I have very fond memories even before the game launched but this fall short of expectations once again for me.
I will buy it with the upgrade to include all previous chapters provided support team will remove arcanist from the account.
It's all or nothing, they are integrated into Necrom unlocks. You could just not create a character as an Arcanist or don't use the abilities that irk you. It is possible to play a Non-beaming Arcanist, there are other abilities that generate/consume Crux.
Most likely yes. I checked out of the game last year but what I have really, really missed from ESO is actually Cyrodiil as a PvE zone to explore like in Oblivion. To me, it was yes, more mainstream than Morrowind or Skyrim, but easily my favourite main Elder Scrolls games landscape to wander (Morrowind was too weird, Skyrim just very boring and monochromatic to look at).
I was dreading a wood elf chapter. I wouldn't have bought it. They seem to have compromised.
