Spell crafting

I was envisioning a skill line of like.... 1 single target damage, 1 AoE damage, 1 healing, 1 utility, 1 defense, and 1 ultimate for spell crafting. Then you pick layered morphs for these skills to tailor them, but it seems ZOS decided "Lets go farther" and added new skills to a vast majority of skills lines with primary, secondary, and tertiary choices.

Similar to how I imagined spell crafting would go, but wasn't expecting that route they took. I'm not necessarily hyped, but they got my curiosity piqued.

Honestly couldn't be more excited. Loved everything I saw - I fear for my wallet and what they can do to me with themed crown store items this year.

As a Warden though I hope they someday let us skin some of the off-theme animal summons we get.

Scribing sounds good but there’s *currently* a missed opportunity for new skins for the bear ultimate, scamp skill etc to be customisable. Thought they were going to announce this, rather than… colours…

Also, no new companion for the chapter sucks.

I am cautiously hyped for this. Credit to ZoS where it is due, the systems they announced has me eager to see how they really plan out.

Scribing sounds like a fair go at what Spellcrafting was once planned. Having a single skill per line being customizable sounds easier to balance them a whole list of new skills to craft.

Skill Styles sounds very cool, and I like the sound of them *all* being earnable in game, at least for now. Just need to see how many release. Now we need combat stances to round it off!

The zone itself does look very pretty, and this story they seem to be setting up is interesting. I am not familiar with ES lore so I can't tell if this prince is entirely new, or one that's just not been talked about much

Lastly, this Q4 update has me very curious about it. I've been in the game a long time, and I don't ever recall ZoS dropping any update with even just the term 'PvP tied directly to it. I'm not really sure how to feel about this one. It gives me a little hope that PvP will actually see a worthwile update, an *actual* update and feature, but at the same time I am worried given PvP's current state. We will just have to see what it is, and how it is implemented when the times come.

Overall though, for the ZoS employees that may read this, you've peaked my interest. Let's see what you got!

Somewhat hyped for "Scribing", but I'll reserve my judgement for now until we either have more information or until I get to test it on the PTS.
Skingrad looks pretty cool and I'm definitely looking forward to see it in game.

I'm not thrilled about having to deal with to deal with Leramil yet again. She was already highly annoying in Necrom (which I only played on PTS).

Hyped. And I feel that ZOS is listening to feedback and paying attention to how features are received. They seem to be doing more of what players like and less of what perhaps wasn't received as well (thinking of the Bastion Nymic lol). This gives me hope.

Well, seems just like "one more chapter." Nothing wrong but nothing fabulous too.

Region is cool, scribing seems nice. Story can be either really awesome lorewise or just another meh "SAVE THE WORLD FROM EVIL DAEDRA LOL" where we one shot everything because overland has become too easy.

The only thing that disappoint me is that after the collector styles changes with High Isle (going from full "3 armors" styles to one) now they also remove the companions from the DLC ... but the price stay the same -_-

Ok, it was this price too before companions were a thing but still, it's kinda harsh ^^'

Extremely disappointed with this announcement, I expected much more indeed surprise, I mean, we come on the ten years of existence of the game, normally an announcement for the 10 years should mark the blow, offered lots of stuff wowh and lots of novelty for the game, there finally, it's more focused on the story to the basic formula of the game, no risk taking to dare to propose something new / refreshing...

We were also told about the spell customization system, but I have the impression that I have heard about something that looks like enchantment that a real system creates a more powerful spell than enchantment, in all that is the impression that it gives me through this first presentation.

Not frankly for a "10 years" anniversary I was expecting something much better, especially coming from a studio as important as Zenimax and certainly with a lot of means that other studios have not been extremely disappointed by this announcement...

Not particularly interested. I think I'm kinda burnt on live service games at this point. Knowing there's a new pvp thing they'll probably try to force like they do with Midyear Mayhem really putting me off. I miss when Q4 was for smaller story DLC.

Not hyped at all unless I see some sort of change in direction when it comes to the story content. I tried coming back to this game the other day after playing god of war on the hardest difficulty, and I just fell asleep on my keyboard.

Credit where it’s due. I haven’t played this game in a long time because of the quality of content. I have been asking for more skills or new skills or spellcrafting. So I am excited to see their system. If it sucks, I won’t come back. If it’s good, I will!

I will be able to travel by land through most of Tamriel. The first thing I plan on doing when they get the whole coastline filled out, is to run around the entire coastline of Tamriel. So, this chapter is getting me one step closer.
