I only care if they do something to restore Cyrodiil. And, sadly, it looks like that's the last thing they're planning to do.

There isn't an option on the poll that reflects how negatively I feel about the game going forward after the most recent pop reductions made to Cyrodiil.

I expect to be disappointed. There's just been too many years of disappointment.

I'll learn about whatever new content is from the forum as I haven't got the patience to sit through the whole corporate sales pitch vibe the reveal streams have given me in the last few years.

More hyped than I thought I’d be for a chapter in a human area! And not only because of the lovely Ayleid ruins!

I hope for an interesting story and zone to explore, interesting companions, and new housing assets, and I hope that PvP gets improvements and content this year as well. I’m curious about what new might be introduced. Spellcrafting could be interesting, but I am not expecting it. New skill lines could be interesting but don’t feel new weapons are necessary, and definitely don’t care about spears.

Honestly, it's a game I play to relax that I enjoy. I enjoy a solid 95% of what ZoS put out. The other 5% just isn't generally for me.

So I look forward to new stuff, but wouldn't describe me as hyped.

I picked spellcrafting, but I’m still not saying we will 100% get that (even with some known sources.)

Having said that, I’m always hyped for every update eso gets, but man…the High Isle reveal really bummed me out. I just can’t trust them until I see anything anymore. The high isle teaser with the three boats in the storm was so cool, with lots of great speculation. But then we got the actual twitch reveal and I was so let down. Not even because the card game and all that, just because I knew the story would be lame.

Necrom definitely swung back into the positive direction, especially if you’ve finished its main quest!!! But I’m just afraid to give them my trust after High Isle ruined it.

See, I actually really enjoyed High Isle and still spend a fair amount of time there. I think the real problem with High Isle was not that it was per se terrible, but that there was such a substantial delta between the hype and the reality. I, too, was very much over-hyped based on the High Isle reveal trailer, and the chapter did not live up to my expectations at that point. But I was eventually able to set aside my feelings about that, and take the chapter as it is actually is, which was quite good, IMO. (I'm also someone who did not want or ask for ToT in any way, and was initially super disappointed in that being a major feature, but ended up getting a lot of enjoyment out of it.)

Necrom, otoh, is not something I was hyped for at all, and I have also really enjoyed that. But I think the last chapter I was truly hyped for that actually lived up to the hype was Summerset, or maybe Elsweyr.

So all of that experience is coloring my mood now. I'm looking forward to seeing Skingrad; if there's also some Falinesti content as folks have speculated, that could be cool, too. But I am mostly in wait and see mode. As a practical matter, I have no doubt I'll buy it eventually; whether or not it's preorder, etc., will depend largely on what the bonus items are.

I’m hyped. I want something to be excited for and enjoy for what it is, as best as I can. Unless it’s aggressively monetized or something curveball, I will likely preorder the CE on PlayStation the moment it drops. Based on the teasers and other information out already, it seems like a promising future.

Same wavelength here. I had a massive change of heart on High Isle and like you, find myself just chilling there. The story wasn't their best, and the area's a little hard to get to, but it had really strong elements that aged well. I still do dailies there, I loved all of the dungeons and trial, and the music is exquisite. Especially in the winter, that bit of sun feels good to see.

I wasn't hyped for Necrom, and still largely don't care for it. It wasn't bad content, the story had good enough writing, but it wasn't matching up to my mood. I think High Isle, like Summerset, has quite an enduring aesthetic, and because of that, I spend more time there.

Skingrad was one of my favorite locales, Knights of the Nine was a great DLC, so anything reminiscent of that is exciting for me. If there's anything wood elf themed, I'll probably gobble that up too.
