If it is the seals of endeavor glitch that flagged the accounts here might be that people traveled from and to Reapers March that day (that is how people reset the endeavors) and that the system registered is as a try to dublicate the glitch - so if they are investigating they should see if people only port and re-do endevors or if they port and do all kinds of stuff.

Wishing you lot best of luck - this is def not the best experience.

Yes is about the endeavor bug i found that out when i got a reply.
But i never do those thb, only popping up when i play eso along the way.
I would never deliberatly use a bug to my advantage.
I am not stupid and won't risk a ban, as i spent way to much money and time into this game,
but i really hope my suspention from ESO will be fixed asap.

This takes me back to the whole fiasco with the Morrowind launch and people who beta tested it getting banned because they didn't get their game code before launch. Gina saved us, then. Hopefully something good comes of this now.

Yes, I do believe I did travel to reapers March a few times this week during the quest for elsweyer and because I was considering whether to add a house there too since sometimes we have guild trader there and for seasonal quests. I’m still can’t say if I had finished any endeavours or what not. I think people do get around a lot in eso so highly plausible that this is what so many of us have done. Thank you for the support it’s most appreciated.

So Rawlk’a is my base where I park most of my characters & craft if feel like it or need it for endeavours. So would be travelling in & out of there a lot.

Did notice the endeavours not recording or showing properly on some characters - actually sent in ticket! - but then wanted to complete the daily endeavours so when noticed they were ok on other characters, did them on that character.
No exploiting, or cheating, just finding what I thought was a sensible work-around to get them done. And once the 3 were ticked off, gave them no more thought.

So if I did get extra seals, would be such a small amount - and I certainly did not see a huge inexplicable increase!

Am quite frustrated to have this ban happen for something that was Zos’ fault in the first place, something that I helped to highlight as an issue, and did not then deliberately exploit for personal gain.

It is not pleasant to be accused of cheating when you have not.

I really hope they are prioritising sorting this out, as not the best time to happen, during an event (so missing tickets).

It's a bug(software glitch).

A bug with how the seals of endeavors in the game are being calculated. Also with ban waves- its a software that does account actions to many people at once and it looks like it has a bug as well.

I blame the bugs in the software for causing the issues and not the Zenimax employees.

Speaking in defense for these people...that's a very popular trading hub. Not so much now but historical it used to be number one

Well, I know I’ll never be helping troubleshoot anything ever again. As a GM, I can’t afford to have my account banned/locked down because of trying to be a good citizen.

This is alarming as can be, on top of the fact daily endeavors can be easily/unnoticeably completed so anyone who completed them on PS EU, then traveled to Reaper’s March for a quest or crafting or a treasure map or a survey or an antiquity lead or to shop/bid guild traders, who then traveled out (not noticing the endeavors got reset) and played the game normally and accidentally completed new endeavors again are now banned and missing a major event until a human can sensibly look at their appeal and unban them. Hopefully.

That’s just gross, seriously. Especially with people in this thread who are banned who clearly made SUPPORT TICKETS in the original thread - if you’re gonna exploit, you’re not gonna call attention to yourself by contacting support.

This is egregious.

Honestly, I love this game but it is getting scarier by the minute. And still no clarification in the Crown Crates pinned thread, which is an additional scary situation.

It is the unfortunate reality. People don’t thoroughly bug report on PTS because they feel ignored. People don’t bug report on live because they could get banned. Our community is suffering in so many ways and it’s only getting worse. Thanks ZOS.

The cherry on top is all my comments in this forum have all been deleted now too. I was only voicing an opinion about how it feels to have your account banned for a witch hunt. This company is becoming too hostile towards its customers.

Zenimax causing a bug that the vast majority of people they banned were almost certainly unaware of.

But they're going to "do better this year", remember guys?

They abandoned the code rewrite that may have prevented a bug like this from occurring in the first place, and are now banning innocent players for something that is entirely their fault.

I wonder what is next on the calendar.

I also use Rawlk'a as base, now I tend to plan out endeavor so I get them and tend to do this in the morning unless its something I know I would get later, like killing 10 creatures with weapon skills, but say 10 vampires I would travel out and get.
Now I can imagine I could get into this with trivial tasks like killing with weapons skills as Rawlk'a is base, not banned but did not had problems with endeavors as some had. My strategy might saved me here.
Guild discord say they are restoring accounts now.

I say the bannings was stupid as I assume the problem is already fixed. If not turn endeavors off, so this is just punishment.
If fixed, I say sort accounts after seals of endeavor gained. Some earning 10K seals, they are obliviously exploiting. 100 more a week, not exploiting as why bother. 500 is questionable, look at log or just remove the extras.

At least people are not getting banned for milking an cow as a lady was in New World beta.

If it were for a few days I would agree. However continuing to take their monthly ESO+ payments for potentially weeks while denying them access is unethical and as I said it wouldn't surprise me if it were illegal in the EU.

Don't worry, guys! When all those new seals of endeavor dailies/weeklies from PTS go live that require grouping with a guildmate to complete or running specific trials/dungeons to complete, all the solo players who got caught up in this insanity will be safe from it happening again.

Apologies in advance to those who group up and grind repeated trials/dungeons if this glitches out again, though.

I'd also be legitimately upset and anxious if this had happened to my account. I hope ZOS can put measures into place so that a) things like these do not happen, b) if they do, the process is more discerning so that not everyone gets swept up by the banhammer. Let's keep the thread constructive so it won't get closed and hopefully we can get an update soon with a positive outcome so those affected can return to their accounts soon.

Personally, I'm appalled that players who dared to travel to one of the base game zones and earn pennies of a non-tradable virtual currency are allowed to continue to play this game.
