I'm repeating my offer: I don't want the costume or the dibella stuff - so broom/bucket style pages I get (if any), and the Cloth fragments (I got 5 out of 6 today) I will be happy to gift to people who need them, first come first served. The day before the event ends, I'll post a list in this thread, and anyone who needs stuff can PM me. This is good on both PC NA and PC EU. Sorry, I don't have consoles.

TaSheen, I just wanted to say that this is a very kind thing for you to do. The only thing I’m hoping to get via a drop during this event is the broom motif, so if it doesn’t drop for me close to the end, you may see me on that list! I’m really dreading the invasion of Tamriel by Daedric Barneys as soon as people start completing their costumes. 🦕

I'm ok with things taking multiple years - mostly because nothing has been must have for me - but I'd like some information on what will be offered one time vs. when it is worth storing the pieces. It's annoying to use scarce storage space for things that aren't coming back.

@ZOS_Kevin , as a compromise of sorts, how about leaving jester goodies in the Impresario's stock during the Jubilee event? This would greatly alleviate the situation and partially address the harsh (but fair) player criticism.

The way things work on the dev end of things, these things are set in stone by now for the most part. Even if we were to try and do that, there wouldn't be enough time for testing before release. I can pass this along for future consideration as a way to address this in the future, but the likelihood of this happening for next week is most likely a no-go.

@ZOS_Kevin Thanks for considering it, definitely understand why we won't see it this year. I like this idea and hopefully something can be worked out for later Jester Festivals.

I'd really like to see all items be sellable even for 0 gold. This event is one of the worst because it drops multiple 0 gold items into my inventory every day and (console), I have to bring up the banker to look through my entire inventory to find them all and destroy them.

That's good insight. How many of the future events are set in stone for this year? It seems like there's been ample criticism and feedback on event rewards. I remember similar concerns being voiced around the rewards of High Isle and Elsweyr events, so it's a little frustrating to see that perpetuate here you know? When's there going to be a turnaround on this feedback? Beyond dev time, there's probably other drivers like business directives - what're their thoughts on our feedback? Honestly, it feels like they're not only discarding our feedback but also noticeably going in the other direction.

Personally, I'm just at the point where events are a no-go. If it's not a double-drop event where I need the items, I'm unlikely to participate. The punitive rewards won't exactly make me want to throw money at the crown store. I'm sure I'm not alone in that sentiment.

So, that has been 2 daily across 5 accounts since Wednesday.

I have been playing on four accounts/platforms and I think I have 2 or 3 of them now across everything. That's OK, I really don't want the costume.

I am actually at a conundrum. I am at 11/12 tickets and have completed the parts of the the base pet thing that gets consumed to make better things, and I have Hide Shoulders. Turns out Hide Shoulders is the apex reward this time. I picked up the broom in a box but will probably never use it. I am not interested in the muse personality because it seems limited to just walk an idle and does something unsettling with the eyes. My conundrum is whether to stop now at 11/12 or just continue so I can get 12/12 and let the extras hit the toilet.

If ZOS was as interested in the in-game rewards as they are in crown stuff, I might be incentivized to stick around and play these two events. Right now, I am at a loss as to why I want to run around doing silliness for jesters that I have already done before, and all I need from the anniversary is the cake. I guess I'm pretty much done with Jesters and Anniversary. That's a wrap for this quarter, I think.

I generally do Anniversary less for the tickets, since those are practically a log in requirement to earn and not a hassle at all. And more for the 4-5 million gold I will make selling motifs that drop.

Nice job trolling the players by having a fragment you need 10 of, that you have one chance each day to get and the event is 9 days long, so you are spending tickets even if you are lucky enough to get one everyday. I am 0/3 just FYI.

This is a new low for you guys, did you even think about that before introducing it? Sorry that was a stupid question, you guys clearly didn't think about it.

I have a concern about the costume fragment availability.

Your article (and testing on PTS) showed that they aren't necessarily guaranteed from the gold boxes. It seems from reading the article that we will get one fragment a day unless we are 'lucky' enough to drop the broom/bucket page, but I don't know if that's confirmed. Are we allowed to know if we can expect one (or more!) per day?

The problem is that on PTS, we needed 10 fragments to build the costume. The event itself runs 8 days only, and that's assuming we can participate every day... which as pointed out is very difficult for players on the NA server (the daily reset is now 6 am EDT and the event ends at 10 am EDT, leaving players with only 4 hours to get that last day at a rather inconvenient time for most of the US). That means, if the fragments are guaranteed one-per-gold-box, no players will be able to complete the costume without purchasing extra fragments with event tickets.

Can we get a confirmation as to whether the costume still requires 10 fragments to complete?

Also, the article does not mention if the Passion's Muse fragments will be available in the next event. We have gotten that confirmed a few times, but especially since many players are short on tickets due to the missing February event and the fact that we may have to prioritize costume fragments due to the above , it would be nice to have a mention that the Passion's Muse items will still be available in the next event as well.

After chatting with the team, we have a few answers to share.
    • the costume still requires 10 fragments to complete.
    • Fragments are not guaranteed per Stupendous Jester’s Festival Box as they only have a chance to drop, as stated in the article.
    • Passion Muse fragments will be available throughout Q2 events, given the Whitestrake's Mayhem Shift.

We have taken this feedback to the team so they have this as part of their review of the event and can reference for next year.

    So this was intentional? [snip]

If you think on it a bit, you realize that they are practically out of things to buy with Event Tickets. If they give everything away in the boxes, people who aren't interested in the flower pet, or the rather limited personality, really have limited options with the event tickets.

Now, if they diverted some of the Crown Crate stuff to the Impresario, then they would have more in-game rewards people could buy with event tickets.

I have 3 accounts, am running one quest for tickets and the gold box on each account both PC megaservers.

So far I have (plus a few of the "doodad" drops)

Account 1 PC NA: 2 Minstrel scraps, 1 bucket style page, 1 regalia epaulets style page
Account 2 PC NA: 2 Minstrel scraps, no style pages
Account 3 PC NA: 2 Minstrel scraps, 1 Cadwell's axe style page

Account 1 PC EU: 2 Minstrel scraps, 1 regalia hat style page
Account 2 PC EU: 1 Minstrel scrap, 1 bucket style page
Account 3 PC EU: 3 Minstrel scraps, no style pages

This is about par for the course for me.... Event RNG isn't much good so I just get the tickets and the "special" box. By this time I'm not so interested in anything but filling out my indrik collection.

This is... just bad. To introduce a new thing that you have 1 chance to actually get per day, you need 10 of them, and the event is 9 days long so even if you have a 100% rate of cloth scrap drops, you can't get them all without spending event tickets. And there is a chance of getting NO cloth scraps and having to spend 30 event tickets on cloth scraps - which is, itself, more tickets than there are in the event (24 or possibly 27).

Given that you still NEED those event tickets for the Passion's Muse, the Blossom, probably the Broom and Bucket pages as well... AND THE SPRING INDRIKS since we have been deprived of one event where they would be purchasable, and will instead get an extra event for the summer indriks because one event has moved from one indrik-season to a different indrik-season.

Please make the Spring indriks (Dawnwood and Spectral) hang around for another event or two in the vendor, just like the Passion's Muse is doing.

I'm really disappointed in this year's event rewards. I enjoy spending money on ESO, but the events have always presented as something everyone can take part in and enjoy new goodies from, regardless of how much they can/want to spend on the game.

It's really just not feasible to get all of this event's items without spending money on tickets.

It's not a huge deal, but I was also disappointed that the Hide Shoulder option didn't just come in as a QoL improvement as an update to the game. Being able to hide helmets freely makes the option to hide shoulder feel more like a feature than a "cosmetic" to go out and collect. I hope future small fun improvements like that don't continue to get put behind paywalls.

Well I'm happy I got the last piece of the sow today. 3 years for that. woo. And yes there are so many unsellable 'prizes' in this one, its really annoying. How many banners and poppers etc does one need? Really annoying. I'm always like where is all my inventory space!!! oh right this junk... and you cant even filter it to the merchant, you have to manually go through and destroy the things...

Fortunately this time I came into the festival with a load of tickets because I haven't wanted anything in some time so I got a start on the costume, but wow the numbers on this one are a bit tight guys,
