It's not installed directly, but as part of other mods. The only one I have that includes it is HarvestMap, but there may be others.
Confirmed - shut off Harvest Map and all other addons I have installed seem to work fine and no crashes. @ZOS_GinaBruno going to take a guess the people saying they don't use NodeDetection but are still crashing were like me and did not realize that NodeDetection is not actually the name of a Minion Addon but things like Harvest Map use it.

What is the "NodeDetection" library displayed in the add-on list?
This is a library used by HarvestMap to hide resource that have not respawned yet. If you do not use the option to display only spawned resources, then you can disable this library.

someone in zone chat said he lost gold plan so the game doesnt save progress!!!!
If it's a library for an add-on, and it's not created by ZOS, the blame is misplaced. Curious though to see what ZOS finds as the cause in the end. It at least looks to me like it's not a ZOS issue, so am curious how they feel troubleshooting content created by others (assuming the creator of the library isn't a ZOS employee).

Thing is they also got issues other than one that this update has caused some players can't update the game and some players are crashing even with no add ons at all, so it isn't a add on issue although that wouldn't surprise if one was causing buts seems to be more a game issues at the moment due to the new update.
Already had 8 players in discord i know play this game say their game crashes and they don't have any add ons at all or can't even update the game as it crashes at around 19 to 22 percent locks up crashes. So Add ons isnt the main source but a in game engine issue they did while updating.

The patch download was a pain for me at about the 19 to 22 percent area you mentioned. I was streaming on Hulu, and it was glitching bad, and I suspect it was related to the patch download. I almost shut it down to retry a few times but just shut down other programs and let it do its thing to see what would happen. Eventually, it got past that hurdle and continued the download.
