4 crashes in 5 minutes since servers opened from new patch

Just to clarify, multiple people are reporting losing items due to server rollbacks and you're still insisting on keeping the server online?
It's almost 4PM CET and most people here are off work soon, hopefully it won't get worse but I fear the worst.

That is a separate issue that we are also currently working on fixing.

unfortunately, you are not the only one with issues on this not trying to make yours and less important many now can't even update the game, some crash with add ons and like you many crashes and have never had an add on ever in the game history. SO, it is an ongoing problem right now not surprised myself at this every time they do these problems come up old and new.

Does this addon/lib have another name? Typing Node into search in Minon and I don't see anything under either installed or Find More.

First crashed around 10:15a to 10:25a EST

Info & actions if this helps:
Add-ons not disabled (yet)
Logged into player home fine (Hall of the Lunar Champion), fussed about a bit. 20 minutes maybe? no issues.
Did get UI error popup about LibHistorie (pic below). Didn't think much of it at the time bcuz until addons are updated this is not uncommon post-patch and usually game is playable for me.
Left home into Rimmen, rode to crafting area, grabbed daily writs
Did jewelry, enchanting and was jogging to clothier station, then client exits to desktop.
No errors after, no crash reporter, game just exited quietly.
Attempted to log in, game begins loading zone, then simply exits.

Logged in again, disabled all addons, was able to load into Rimmen, right where I crashed from.
Returned to HotLC(player home)
Inside I re-enabled all addons except LibHistorie and LibGuildStore
reloadui
Game still stable, left home into Rimmen.
Finished crafting dailies
Went into banker ally a couple times.
Rode to writ drop-off boxes, turned in 3, crash.
No error, just quit to desktop.

Running without addons could be a temp fix but I'm out of troubleshooting time for today.
Likely there are just multiple Libs that need updating, hopefully what I have up there helps.

Getting the same here ID wolfblasshg, Logged into game with first Character went to Glenumbra Crosswych wayshrine got on mount rode for 2 seconds and game disappeared no error message what so ever when trying to log in again with that character got thru everything and had screen showing Glenumbra then the same happened no error message and game disappears tried this third time on that character and exactly the same happened.

I then logged in with 2nd character who was in high isle which is where all my characters are based in the game for crafting.
this character logged into High Isle with no probelm went to wayshrine and fast traveled to Glenumbra and again exactly the same thing happened as with the first character mounted game disappears no error message. Only difference this time is with this character was able to log in into Glenumbra however once again game disappears and no error message

PC EU, ID: @Perfiction . Crash happens few seconds after logging into the character, more details + windows event log in my other post in bug reports section.

edit - Disabled HarvestMap (and its NodeDetection library), crashes are gone so yeah.

Has to be 30 minutes since diabling NodeDetection only and playing stable with 109 addons enabled.

I'd still like to say that I would appreciate an update on the intended course of action. I could thereotically play now, but with reports of rollbacks and a potential new (long?) downtime, I'm unsure if I should. So I just want to express that anything you can say regarding this would be a great help, even though I'm sure you're communicating as soon as possible anyways.

With addons enabled, it crashed to desktop with no message every 2 minutes. I was changing zones a few times, did not have time for any other action.

With all addons disabled, it crashed in 10 minutes, I was leaving the holiday event boss to return to the witches area, it crashed at the portal.

Perhaps changing zones and using portals are the cause of the crashes.

It's not installed directly, but as part of other mods. The only one I have that includes it is HarvestMap, but there may be others.

It has to, yes. I have in installed but also can't see it in minion. All I can say is that it seems to be part of HarvestMap and can nevertheless be seperatly disabled, with HarvestMap itself still working. Also, it shows up under libraries, but doesn't follow the usual naming convention (doesn't start with "lib").

Are you certain? I have a friend that said the same, and she had it but had trouble locating it.

After enabling addons except a few and except the one mentioned in the red notice (node detection) and after a few minutes of walking around in the new zone, I GOT TEH BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH and the computer restarted.

Edit: After this happened, I renamed addon folder and saved variables folder and moved them out. I renamed addonsettings and shadercache.cooked and moved them out. Then I started the game, fine. Then I decided to run a repair and exited the game to run the repair. So.. I went back into the game in the new zone with as vanilla as I can be. I decided to pick up the dailies since I am standing right next to them. Then I pick up "Swords Needed..." and the game kicks me to character screen. So, I go back in to find that the quest pickup was rolled back. I pick them all up again. I also decided to put away the treasure hunter personality and put away the vanilla skele polymorph.

So I left the city, killed a wolf and Ember did not comment nor display the usual rapport (first wolf of the day). Played for a maybe 15 minutes, crashed to character screen. I reentered game and was rolled back to the inside of a delve that I had briefly stepped into to "discover it" approx 7 minutes prior.

This is an unstable/rocky rollout! Best wishes to the team.

I harvested a butterfly and was kicked to character screen. Less than 5 minutes passed since last kick. Reentering sent me back inside the delve which I had briefly entered before.

Note: Ember reacted as usual to picking up a runestone node. Ember has not yet reacted as usual to killing a wolf in teh new zone.


I really appreciate the new flame color that is added to the volcano vent drop spot.

update **i put back all my add ons but not the node detection librairy and it work fine so i think there is issue with this librairy mostly

Before selecting a character, go to add-ons, scroll to libraries, and uncheck NodeDetection. Select your character, and try to play.

Take care to not spend/receive large sums of gold, update armor until the issue is resolved. Rollbacks could happen.

Confirmed - shut off Harvest Map and all other addons I have installed seem to work fine and no crashes. @ZOS_GinaBruno going to take a guess the people saying they don't use NodeDetection but are still crashing were like me and did not realize that NodeDetection is not actually the name of a Minion Addon but things like Harvest Map use it.

So your game is crashing with no add ons hmmm seems to be a bigger issue than the add ons causing the crash to me don't blame ya for not wanting to play either. Where i am at my game crashes when i try and update it gets to 19 percent then crashes for no reason. Sent ticket and all and did everything there was closed now in Gina hands at this point. Wont try anything till i see an actual fix to it though

I enter or leave a room, Game disappears. I enter a new area, Game disappears. I restart the game, Game disappears. I boot up the launcher, Game dissappears. I don't know what ZOS screwed up but boy they did it large scale. Longest I've got to play now is about 5 seconds. Nice job, not.

Same here. I never use addons but I am guessing it has something to do with that "little reset of explorer at startup" thing going on...

I did some daily stuff in Vvardenfel with no issue, but started crashing once I got to Galen. I crashed to desktop twice with no errors, and got booted to character select once.

Ive been playing about 15 minutes, disabled nodedetection which is right at the bottom of my addons list. And no crashin yet.
