Ok lets recount the issues i've had today since the patch
PC Destktop, non-steam, windows 10 version
1: CTD before even reaching the zenimax logo
2: reaching the login screen without it being interactable, at all requiring a force quit
3: force-quitting the game breaking windows explorer forcing me to power-cycle my computer
4:CTD mid way through the log-in queue
5:CTD when at "requesting character load"
6: CTD after about 30 seconds of gameplay with no addons
7: CTD almost instnatly upon entering the game if ANY addon or libary is enabled, out of date or otherwise.Edited by notyuu on November 1, 2022 2:31PM0 -

Might be the culprit. Noticed the game crashed when lazywritcrafting finished "updating".
After disabling addons, game stable again.
Edit 1: welp aint libaddonmenu-2.0. Tried just singling it out.
Try disabling NodeDetection if you have that?

Turned off NodeDetection alone. Everything else enabled. Seems stable so far although I just did a delve to test. If anything changes I'll note but thats my report if that helps any.2 -
Alexsae✭✭✭Disabled addons and the game was running fine for about 15 minutes, then crash to character screen while trying to pick up a ground quest item. I usually don't crash, so it feels like something is wrong aside from addons.

In another reply, you mentioned that disabling addons and libraries did allow you to play without crashing. Just to clarify, are you able to play without crashing or is your comment that you dislike playing without addons enabled?

Went to High Isle and did a Volcano Vent. Ported to Gonfalon Square Wayshrine. Got up out of my chair irl. Returned to see that I had crashed to login screen.
I reloaded the same character and noticed I was rolled back to Vvardenfell.
Looked in inventory and items picked up at Volcano Vent are missing.. so, character rolled back.Fan of playing magblade since 2015. (PC NA)

✭I saw this thread before logging in, so I disabled all libraries and add-ons before loading the character. I was able to locate all the Galen way shrines and return home to Vvardenfell with no crash.
If I have time, I’ll start re-enabling to help find a trigger.0 -

It crashed after I zoned... uh twice? I went from vvardenfell to Alikir (porting to a guildie). then used WS to get to betnikh, and it crashed. so i gave up and haven't tried again0 -
Firey_Hellhound✭✭✭Add me to the list, I can login after a short Queue (40-50 seconds) Then choose the character and wait for it to load in, once in I have around 10 seconds in game to move, run, attempt to do things, but then it will CTD no warning and no report the error message box we usually get. UserID as Forum name and PC EU, playing via Steam. Initial location was Blackwood, used wayshrine for Reapers March, now arrived, but cant get far! Will attempt to remove all addons and try again and will update after that. Thanks.
Update #1. This issue existed on the first character for the first 3 times I logged in. And a second character does not experience the same issue, and addons all active. Choose another, that logs in fine too. Character load in time is around 30-35 seconds.
Works fine for a while until you attempt to change zones and then it CTD again.

MuMuQ✭✭✭Disabling NodeDetection worked mostly. The server is badly rubberbanding now, rolling back around 10 minutes every now and then. The last roll back lead to another crash for me.

First time crashed in Rimmen just riding to turn in writs. Ever since I don't even make it inot the game. Just crashes to desktop, no errors.1 -
Vinterskald✭✭✭Encountered a lot of crashes both while being already logged in and while still being on a loading screen. Of all the many addons I run, I disabled only NodeDetection, and that seems to have stabilised things - at least I was able to run for 10 minutes without any crashes, but then I got thrown out of the game and upon loading back in realised some of my progress from the last few minutes hadn't saved, so I'm assuming there's rollbacks happening that aren't tied to the crashes?Barra agea ry sou karan.0

NextTuesday✭✭✭PC/NA: I keep getting logged out to character select with no error message regardless of what I'm doing at the time. I could just he standing around idling. All my addons are disabled and it's still happening. Progress for things like achievemtns and endeavours is getting rolled back each time, as are base game settings changes. Please take the server down to finish maintenance properly and make sure it's stable before you put it back up again. The frequency with which the game breaks is making it hard to maintain interest in playing.4
