Yeah, this costume is... unfortunate. I was hoping for a new personality again. Specifically, I kind of like Isobel's, the way she adjusts her armor, etc. I was looking forward to it.

That doesn't mean it's the 4th quarter item. Where are you getting that info from? For all we know it could be a regular event item from the Heroes of High Isle event, like the skeletal khajiit target dummy, the large pile of loot, or the Deadlands DLC. I'm not saying it's not the 4th quarter item, but I haven't seen any further evidence there. If you can show me the fragments for it or a picture of it being on display at the Impressario it would be a different story, but don't spread any unconfirmed information.

Why is it pink? I have ESO+, I can dye it, but many people don't have that luxury, and this is really the worst color you could've picked for metal plate armor. Couple that with the uninspired design that's worse than armor we get during the Whitestrake's Mayhem. They could've gone away without hip and crotch flaps. I at least somehow understand them using those on motifs, as you have to mask the seams on different styles, but costumes are seamless. You'd better get something really cool for Q4 ZOS. =D

I don't personally think it's ugly, but I prefer using motifs for my outfits rather than costumes, so I can safely skip the fragment and get other rewards instead.

Though, not gonna lie, I am enjoying seeing all kinds of rewards from events.

It is a little lackluster compared to some of our event rewards, but I think calling it 'girly' is positively unhinged. It might even be some smart marketing to give players a 'gimme' season to work on their event ticket backlog since they finally brought Indriks back. Now people won't feel like they need to choose between two equally compelling rewards just because they missed the Indriks the first time, while still giving something to completionists who have all the previous years rewards. Of course 'equally compelling' is subjective but I think most players would consider a mount (as there are not many 'free' ones) more prestigious than a costume (which are comparatively common).

Also, is it just me, or does this costume look like something you could already put together with existing sets? It looks uncannily familiar to a friend's outfit.

I'll probably pass on it, like I passed on the skin last year simply because I wasn't interested. But that means I don't HAVE to force myself to do dailies I don't want to do and can focus on grinding AP to unlock dyes. Fashion is still my end game afterall.

Are all of the good artists working on another project and not available to contribute to ESO or is this just ZOS trolling the playerbase?

Strange that the theme of this year's event rewards seemed to be Anuiel/Aka stuff - the skin, the mount, the hourglass furnishing - and then there is also ... this.

Not to mention the Legacy of the Breton content so far hasn't had anything to do with Aka, but this costumes just doesn't seem to fit regardless.

Compared to the other morph items which are very Akatosh themed this is feeling extremely bland and weird.


Like we already have several styles similar to this we can make outfits of. I'd expect something more unique and matching the other items in theme for an event morph.

It looks more like a medium armor costume than a knight's armor.

I dislike the floating hip flaps and the crotch flap. It is well known that a lot of players don't like these features, and on the other hand, there are plenty of costumes and styles featuring flaps. It is easy to make a very similar outfit using styles that already exist in the game. Besides, this design is quite old, but even the old Lion Guard costume looks better and more knightly than this.

Sadly none cares about feedback and they will go ahead with this as it is. Really, it looks worse when you see it in game. It is probably one of the least interesting costumes released, which is unexpected because we have recently got two amazing costumes: Thrafey Debutante Gown and Celestial Robes. The Highrock spellsword outfit was also good, except for the backpack, which I personaly don't like.

At least break this costume into style pages, so people can take whatever they like from it.

I'm on the same page with everyone's disappointment and what makes me sad most of all is that this costume is probably replacing the personality event reward. Personalities are my favorite cosmetic

It is rather curious, their affinity for drawing attention to that area with the flappy dangly thingies. One would think that they would consider the almost universal player disdain for the style feature, but no..... gotta be part of every new costume/armor.
