    Same issue, begun just a few min ago. Dced with Unknown Error, happens within a few seconds of logging in.

    Likewise, just got disconnected and now get Error 200 Login failed.

    GTA 5 online had a problem with dynamic IP too so it was solved by changing to static IP but dunno if Rockstar has fixed that one by now xD

    and now my pre-order bonus items are gone.... yeesh. Tried beta drivers and flashed BIOS. no luck. changed router WAN setting to static IP without any luck either.

    I filed a ticket about the continual 'Unknown Error' disconnects and got the same useless, stock answer given by the single dev comment on this thread. Absolute rubbish. Paying extra for 5 days early then being only able to play for two minutes a time is unacceptable. The lack of useful support from Zenimax is equally infuriating. Even if the solution turns out to be going into your PC settings or calling your ISP (which I doubt), the game should have been released in a state in which we were simply able to play it.

    I'm also starting to get annoyed with this "Unknown Error" that has continually happened to me and been reported by me since two months ago. Yet every 5-30 minutes, I am dropped to the login with "An unknown error has occurred." I was optimistic that this would be resolved by launch but am highly disappointed to see it go unaided for so long and now making it into live, well.. early access. Please, this error is destroying my enjoyment because of the sheer number of times it repetitively occurs.

    Yeah, don't forget the hours and hours when we are waiting on the infinite "Requesting Character Load" screen to get into the game... PLEASE DEVS, where are you guys? It seems the tickets is good for nothing at all.

    Happens to me constantly. I can't even get in to the game right now, boots me out with "An unknown error has occurred" even before the toon selection screen loads.

    Having same issue, was able to play just fine last night but now cant get in.

    Was able to log on new character until tried to go AD starter island and pooof character lost in space between bit's.

    Been having this since launch. On BT Infinity in the UK. I've changed the NAT settings put ESO in my Kaspersky firewall settings (Even disabled both router and Kaspersky firewalls and no dice).

    I don't recall having this issue in two beta weekends at all.

    Hope Zenimax is reading these threads. The launcher problem got stickied but there are several threads regarding this very issue and no answer or question(that I have seen) or news.
    Come on guys! I want ESO to do great, you can do it! I know it's launch and early access but this first month is key(AoC if you know what I mean...).

    Yup if lucky to get in on any char soon as you try to change instance "unknown error"

    I just wish Zenimax would let us know that there is real problem and yes we are trying to solve it this kind silence is never good.

    I know how to fix this if you are on a college campus or the like! But I'll need information from ZOS.

    There's special firewalls in place at colleges to keep people from torrenting, but when these firewalls see the bulk of information going in and out they assume ESO is a torrent too. So you need to contact your tech department and tell them to make an exception for ESO. You need to know the ports ESO uses though.

    I can barely play the game for 5-10 minutes without getting disconnected like this. What makes it bad is if I fast travel or anything I get rolled back, and I lose the money of course.

    Okay, so I updated my Windows firewall settings to allow ESO both on private and public networks... first attempt and I'm not getting booted out. Windows firewall hadn't added ESO to the exception list.
    I will update if I start getting kicked back to log in again.

    I disabled Windows Firewall entirely and still got the unknown error boots =/ Also I have static IP setup on my local network (I doubt my external IP is static through Comcast)

    I setup QoS on my routers for the ports ESO uses. I'll see if there is anywhere else I can add the ports to prevent filtering and test accordingly.

    Sad to see all these issues, but glad to see I'm not the only one. Same thing is happening to myself and my wife. Game ran like a dream through Beta, but now we're getting disconnected usually once every 20 to 30 minutes. If we're extremely lucky we'll make it for an hour or so.

    We were both running wirelessly but while trying to troubleshoot I switched my connection straight to ethernet just to see. Same issues happened as we d/c'd at the same time. It does also knock my internet out for like, three seconds.

    I get the error, then can log right back in almost all of the time. My net goes down and fixes itself so quickly it doesn't even appear to shut off on my desktop (running two screens to keep an eye on it just in case).

    Probably not the best idea, but I just shut down my firewall and my webroot softwar just to see if I manage to stay on and my wife gets booted.

    Guys I've found a temporary fix until this gets resolved long term, download wtfast here and connect via vpn. Worked fine for 2.5 hours straight just now with no disconnections, which is a massive improvement over the 15 minutes i use to get.

    Also having the same issue, along with a friend of mine.. hope you guys are working hard to get this fixed because when I drop 80 dollars on a video game that I'm constantly struggling to play it starts to get irritating to say the least.. should be giving out some sort of compensation for such a poor delivery.

    WTFast gets me into the game, but kick me out with a different error message a few seconds later. Extremely irritating.
