PC NA server unstable past hour

Been doing a few delves now that I know the zones where I'm missing those achievements.

Everything was fine up to about an hour ago but now I'm getting infinite load screens trying to go in or out of delves.

I tried with 3 different characters in 3 different zones and it seems to be happening everywhere.

Possibly there's a large influx of players logging into the game on PC NA for the first time after the update, so the server might have a lot of CS-Achievements to convert into AW-Achievements right now. The same thing was happening on PC EU earlier, but it eventually seemed to settle down-- for me, at least.

And I was just reading in the online news about a solar storm that was expected to hit Earth today. When it rains, it pours...

I'm here on forum because logging in is a grind. at every stage it is slowed down from original queue to even login to endless cycle of ouroboros on both page the char page then the worst wait was on the next page. Thought I would lag out and crash.
When i finally ogt in ti was slugish and going anywhere meant endless cycling.

I am very skeptical it is "lots of people logging in to check the new system." That is possible, but unlikely.

It is much more likely to be they made some mistakes in the changes and didn't get good load testing to test them out.

The game servers are offline. You can sit in the game sort of but not really. You can't play. You can't enter dungeons. Etc, etc. It went offline completely about 7PM EST. IS IT DOWN? has been reporting the game servers offline since then. I was playing sort of and tried to wayshrine to another location and that was it. Booted me from game and it will not login, let alone play. I keep trying, but then I like poking the bear.

It's been wonky for me since I logged hours ago. Long load screens. Login queue. Once in it seems fine until you change zones or change characters. Its all about the loading aspect.

Lost lobby connection, disconnected due to inactivity while waiting on character load, mail not loading, guild banks not loading.

I just now got logged into the servers. Now I'm trying to load my character. At least I got back in after a hour and a half. OK now I finally got back to one of my houses. Trying to load into a different area and see if the guild traders are up.

I was logging in successfully and getting into the game world late this afternoon ET, which was the first I was in today after the update. But I had issues with glitching/freezing/frequent loadscreens. I disabled all the addons and it cleared that issue, but that revealed a new problem of being unable to keep the addons disabled when logging out. That's where I bailed this afternoon, and now when I tried to get in again, I can't get to the character menu at all. Sometimes it's a login queue that times out, sometime my account is "already logged in", sometimes the game questions my internet connection LOL. Maybe I'll just wait til tomorrow & try again.

okkkk .... queue 1sec lasted 15min, send back to character loggging, 7 min later entering summerset arghh , taking a shrine to move away 4min to get to gold coast, and then Queen thief quest want me to another place : 6 min to get to greenshade.

Come on, lets go my mount, .... nahhh better on foot, mount lag is atrocious haha, so running is better.

Err i spoke to fast : i can run for 30sec then have to stop to eliminate the lag accumalated, wait for me Queen i come
pfff pffff 3 min later, lets go Queen, hope your boat is great.

did you forget the paddles ? humm k so 5min later i am finally arrived. And Queen seems dizzy or laggy ?

All went smooth, i was not seen, stole all i wanted, fast and safe, now lets go, we must leave or they will catch us ...... humm 8min to leave Fulgrum (?), am i too heavy with all my stolen stuff, Qen is sick, she put the paddles over the boat, so now we have to leave fast ... but fast is not the word today ..... finally we arrive in Hew's bane. Quite an adventure haha

I love patch day!! and Hurra for all the achievements consolidations giving us soooo much liberty

game is so badly running right now that it forced my pc to restart after my character is stuck on logging screen for 10mins lol..

Same....queue to get in...can't get into dungeons...load up times to change zones are so bad I've just exited out after 5 minutes at the loading screen. Garbage.

Mail is also a hot mess. Notice is immediate. Delivery is 45 minutes if you're lucky.

Has anybody from ZOS acknowledged issues and given any kind of status? I don’t see anything in the threads I’ve looked at.

Unstable? I would say unplayable at least until they patch the patch.

If this is due to the new dungeons or more likely AwA, I didn't want either TBH!

lol... this performance issues is likely the reason why current players for pc is down to currently 14k compared to 20k during 12pm PST..

Can confirm as well. Not only that but load screens are causing huge CPU spikes I never had before.

trouble login in for at least an hour to hour and a half.

Hey everyone, just wanted to let you know that we are aware there are issues right now including lag, long loading screens and issues logging in, to name a few. While we are fairly certain we've identified the problem, it's likely not something we can fix tonight. We'll let you know when we have an update but just wanted to set realistic expectations here.

It's processing all the achievements for every character as you load them, so trying different chars won't help, it'll probably only make it worse.
