Help a newbie out - bow/stamblade gearing

Hello, going to try and make this brief. As a newcommer theres plenty of vids n guides out there of people running different variants of bowblade/stamblade builds. While their skillbars are quite similar and make sense, the different sets vary much for PvP, I want to make mine but also a set variant(s) that may have some longveity and can appeal to both bow and melee stam should I want to switch around a little (and also function decently in dungeons, I dont plan to do 12 man trials, and I also understand the gear from here doesnt really work in PvP either so..). For now Ill be bow/2h sword, but I could also see myself running daggers/2h sword at some point. Got any pointers to throw at me?

So far for gear Im leaning towards something among stygian, fire, balogh, caluurion
Accessory: fire neck and ring + a wild hunt mythic
Traits will be all divines + stam on gear, weps should be sharpened.

My casual days will be bgs, cyro/IC, inbetween catching up all the years of content and vanilla stories + dungeons. Is there one-set-to-rule them all? I accept I may not be able to beat all players, but I want something punchy that also has some survival/sustain (which the second 2h bar will provide plenty).

Anything of tips and roasts you can throw at me is fine

hi there, unfortunately i haven't had time yet to level my own 'stamblade' ALT character.... However, i did find a few related (similar topic) threads for you with some solid info in them:
    1. https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/492481/gear-stamblade-best-combo
    2. https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/528275/bow-bow-stamblade-no-snipe

    6. https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/536784/set-for-a-pvp-stamblade
... Hope that ^ helps to at least get you started? Just remember, a couple of those threads are from 2019 or 2020 , so be careful of necro-posting in them. Some info might be a bit out-dated too , but again it might help spark ideas for you.

I have done veteran DLC dungeons with PvP built DDs, it is long and painful but doable. Havent tried veteran trials though.

Until you've had plenty of practice I wouldn't worry so much about the perfect gear sets. In PvP you will probably die lots regardless of your gear until you've played a fair bit. That will also give you plenty of time to figure out what specific style works for you and what you find better in gear.

If you are doing overland and PvP and working through stories and quests you'll pick up a fair number of skill points and also gear sets. You will be able to keep a different gear set for PvE or PvP and also change around as you find what works for your own play style. You'll also be able to slot different skills. Many nighhtblades I know actually carry 3 or 4 different armour sets - one for dungeons, one for solo overland, one for PvP and one that stacks stealth boosts both for stealing stuff and moving around cyrodiil near invisibly.

Gear isn't too important for overland or normal dungeons (except maybe some DLC ones). The game is after all designed on the basis that you might be level 10 and entering fungal grotto for the first time in bits of iron and rawhide gear you found and without a good knowledge of play.

Too many toons not enough time
