Granted, all cosmetics and dyes are removed from the game, along with all visual armor styles that were added over the years, so all that’s left are the original styles we had at launch. And, lvl 50 weapons are all one color - red.

I wish our characters could wear cloaks 🙂

Granted, but they don't come with cloak physics so it looks like your character is wearing a stiff cardboard on their backs.

I wish we had more medium sized houses that came out instead of constant giant mansions in the crown store.

Granted, but all of the medium houses only let you put one mount or pet in them and that's it.

I wish that you could remove helms/hats from costumes that have them like how they look when you put them on the companions.

You can do that now, go into hats and hide helm :) For the the game tho, whenever you hide helms from now on it will also hide a random part of your costume and change dyes. It will also add/remove tails!

Granted! but the hirelings only send your characters lockpicks and empty soul gems unless every single character is a maxed out master crafter that has researched every single thing.

    I wish I could customize Bastian's appearance

    Legends never die
    They're written down in eternity
But you'll never see the price it costs
The scars collected all their lives

Before it all starts, they suffer through harm just to touch a dream
    Oh, pick yourself up, 'cause

Granted but if you lose your subscription you lose whatever you got for free with the subscription.

I wish ESO had a quests system like in TES3 where you had to figure out what the NPC tells you and solve the quests with no Waypoints or Map pins.

Done - but you cannot ask players for help, unless you pay a subscription…

I wish Water got an overhaul for underwater swimming and exploration.

Underwater swimming and exploration are now a thing. There are vast underwater labyrinths to explore filled with enemies and cool loot. However Argonian passives were not touched and thus did not receive underwater breathing. Also looting and picking locks underwater doesn't halt your breath bar like in the singleplayer games, so you have to hurry up or drown, which would put you back at the start of the underwater area as you cannot respawn underwater.

I wish the game environment would change along with the seasons.

Done, except nothing actually changed besides

I tried that, but it won’t hide the helm on a costume only an outfit. For example I can put Mirri in the dark seducer costume and the ugly helm is gone and she’s just wearing the sexy suit. But, if I put the same costume on my wood elf, the helm stays. Regular outfits that I put together don’t show my head gear though.

I have that turned on, and it hides regular helms, but not the costume ones. If I go to change a costume, any one that has a helm still shows it in the preview. I can’t get on right now, but I will play around with it later to see if I works. Do you need to toggle it for each one? It’s not doing it universally. Thanks for the help, I’ll try your suggestions and report back later.

That's weird, it always works for me. Have several character in a costume that would normally have a hat with it hidden. Do you get the same thing if you try to show a hat or does that override the costume one?

Granted - you have a set of crafting stations that now can be attuned to multiple sets. From now on the material value of everything you craft using those stations is has a multiplier based on the number of sets attuned. Got 200 sets? Thats a multiplier of 200 for all mats.

@DP99 I believe you might still be looking at outfit station options. If so, wrong place. Pause > Collectons > Appearance > Hats > Hide hat(first option in list).

I wish the game environment would change along with the seasons.

Granted, but now whole game looks like TES: Daggerfall.

    I wish ESO wasn't so cosmetics-oriented.

I wish I could get hireling mails on any character

I tried that, but it won’t hide the helm on a costume only an outfit. For example I can put Mirri in the dark seducer costume and the ugly helm is gone and she’s just wearing the sexy suit. But, if I put the same costume on my wood elf, the helm stays. Regular outfits that I put together don’t show my head gear though.

Not the setting in the outfit station, go into your collections > appearance > hats and the top option is hide helms, that will do it :)

@DP99 I believe you might still be looking at outfit station options. If so, wrong place. Pause > Collectons > Appearance > Hats > Hide hat(first option in list).

Granted, but there is an extra hidden cost of 10 perfect roe applied whenever you craft it

I wish we had master stations for all our sets in our houses, so we don't have to use up all our furnishing limit with them

Granted - you have a set of crafting stations that now can be attuned to multiple sets. From now on the material value of everything you craft using those stations is has a multiplier based on the number of sets attuned. Got 200 sets? Thats a multiplier of 200 for all mats.

I wish Cadwell would occasionally randomly join you for a quest or two outside of his existing storylines

Granted. Caldwell randomly joins you but his attacks heal enemies to full health and he'll accidentally trip you once every 15 seconds.

I wish for better light/heavy attack animations and proper fighting/weapon stances

You now have the perfect attack animations and fighting stances that you prefer and love.....but oh no! Your character is not used to these new stances and now they can longer regenerates resources (no health regen, no stam/mag regen) except through heavy attacks. Lots and lots of heavy attacks.

I wish we had water mounts that you could ride across the waves.

I wish that ZOS would keep subscribers in mind whenever they are adding extra incentives to buying their chapter during a special offer period "giving back to the community". (Talking about how Deadlands are gonna be "free", but subscribers essentially get less extra than nonsubs, in case it's not clear.)

I wish I could get hireling mails on any character

Granted! but the hirelings only send your characters lockpicks and empty soul gems unless every single character is a maxed out master crafter that has researched every single thing.

    I wish I could customize Bastian's appearance

Granted, but you can only make him look like creatures (example, you can turn him into a Bull Netch or a horse or a cliff strider or a...etc.) :D

I wish the two person mount came out now.

Granted. If the secondary passenger tries to dismount while it's mobile the mount will crash and kill both passengers and the mount(The mount takes 2 hours to recuperate)
I wish for a graphical overhaul and general asset improvement of vanilla zones.

Granted, but now every improved zone lags really hard and everyone has 2 fps in them.

I wish that you could choose what breed of Khajiit or type of Argonian you could play as. Imagine playing as a Senche or Naga.

You can now choose what furstock or type of Argonian you want to be, however no new armor pieces are being added and your character can only equip armor that matches with their body, meaning that some armor slots are unavailable on certain furstocks/Argonian tribes thus also breaking itemization completely on these extra racial customization options.

I wish we would get a chapter in an as of yet unknown and unsettled area of Tamriel that we colonise as part of the main quest.

I figured it out. Yeah, I didn't have it checked, it just had a symbol of an eye with a slash through it and I thought that it was turned on, but it wasn't you have to have it checked to have it work, I get it now. Thanks!

I wish for a gold food with 4k health, 4k stam, and 400 stam recovery.

Granted but it also applies a 'heavy meal' status effect which prevents you from using abilities. Only light and heavy attacks.

I wish for a pre 1.2 lighting & lag patch version of cyrodiil to be available to play.

You get your pre 1.2 Cyrodiil, it runs amazingly smoothly and every skill goes off just when you expect it to.

However - only one person can go into cyrodiil at a time and it now requires a minimum of 2 people to capture any resource. Happy fishing!

I wish there were unique artefacts in the game that only one of exists on the server (similar to artefacts in ready player one) that have amazing abilities

Done, but now PvP is on for you, meaning people can try to kill you for your Goldbrand for example. (Wait this is actually a good idea I improved it oh no)

I wish that Crown Store cosmetics actually made sense and weren't like 9th era space uniforms.

Druadach Mountains 9th Era-Style Space Uniforms
The Breton and Nordic mountainfolk have always been known for their bizarre, flashy, super-edgy garments and mounts. The secret craft of weaving stinky spells into the fabrics are unknown to all other races, but hey, you can't say they don't ...make scents!!

That pun hurt. But props for being creative with it!

They redo all the basegame zones, but forgot to add a bunch of skyshards so the whole debacle about missing the skill points from the old tutorials is repeating itself here and many of the ugly zones are still looking ugly because all the basegame zones have been redone at the same time once again, instead of giving each the time and attention it deserves.

I wish we got more in-universe lore on the holidays of Tamriel instead of simply milking RL holidays for increased revenue and player engagement by carbon-copying them into the world of Tamriel with no further elaboration.
