Poll is anonymous no one will know what you voted. however your opinion is indeed appreciated.

Are you a Solo or a social player with some good friends for vet dlc's?
Personally i don't mind trying vet dlcs , completing them feels great, but it's a one and done situation i wouldn't bother with them ever again. the issue for me is i'm not a social player and i hate having to find groups and waste time on it. Trials is even worse... i have been kicked of some guilds because i couldn't show up for the trial it's stressful for me.

However what pisses me off is that these vet dlc dungeons pop up when you do daily dungeon, it's insanely annoying.
The fact all the achievements are insane for the older dlc dungeons is even worse... no death runs... on a dungeon full of insta kills? for real? you bet i'll never have that necro personality.

Whenever I did dungeons I always ran veteran dungeons. And even though I do not have an issue with the mechanics, I feel there are too many dungeons with too many bosses with too many mechanics to remember them all. And ZOS keeps adding new dungeons.

Because there are so many mechanics, most players won't remember them. Meaning some DLC dungeons could take a long time. Luckily as the tank I usually explained the need-to-know mechanics before engaging the boss. But I can only remember the mechanics after I've been there again.

Right now I haven't done dungeons in a few months, so when I start doing them again, I know it'll be a mess. I can't blame myself for this, and I also do not blame others for this. Some in-game reminder/note of the boss mechanics when we are before a boss would do wonders.

Personally I enjoy the difficulty of Vet DLC content if for no other reason than it's the only content where I don't feel like I'm just running behind 3 DDs clearing the dungeon for me (Tank/Healer mostly). That said, I haven't had a chance to do most of them simply because I find it overwhelmingly difficult to actually get a group to learn with. PUGs are very hit or miss (and usually miss honestly. Though I don't entirely blame them), and guilds don't really want to spend the time teaching someone unless it's a scheduled event, which I rarely can attend.

I run vet dlc dungeons on a release date in pugs since FL/SCP patch, not that much pugging after that (only if sets worth farming) as I tend to do them with people I know after for the achievements and going solo/duo for just a story and lorebooks but even after release date it's not bad if there's at least one okayish player in a group or three totally new players with desire to learn and try at least.

Personally I like the stories, environment and challenge if there's any (looking at you the Cauldron, my first fresh dlc 3in1 in a complete pug?) and do not mind adapting to the group I'm in this time, be it speedrunning or slow paste.

Inappropriate time/reward ratio compare to base game ones is my only gripe about them. Any no hm dlc dungeon harder and in most cases longer than hm base game ones. They should give 2 keys for no hm and 4 keys for hm.

I don't do dungeons very often, and as a result of that I don't buy dungeon DLC because it doesn't seem worth paying for something I rarely do. When I am doing dungeons I usually stick to normal mode, because I just want to play through the quest and/or complete the dungeon, I'm not there for specific drops or achievements or whatever so it's not worth the extra hassle. (I play ESO for the TES world and lore rather than to prove to...whoever it is who might care, that I can do difficult content.)

As a result I have very little experience with vet DLC dungeons, but what I've seen of them seems ok. As long as everyone in the group is prepared for the fact that it will be harder and that means actually having more mechanics to deal with, not just bigger numbers on the enemies HP and damage it's not a problem. If no one knows it well enough to explain to the rest of the group it might take some trial and error to figure out what works, but that's true of games in general.

I enjoy VET DLC dungeons sometimes. I'm not a fan of the overuse of one shots, but I do enjoy the challenge that they bring and mostly have fun with them. I may have some minor criticism but it doesn't stop me from enjoying them from time to time. Overall, I like them.

The only thing I hate in the game are hard DPS check mechanics.

Since I play tank or healer mostly, that means the entire situation isn't dependent on my performance in those cases.

That said, I have found ways to complete those dungeons and avoid the checks, though I doubt it's common knowledge...

I mean outside of Trials this is the content we got for PvE players. Its fun, engaging and rewarding. Now are some mechanics really annoying? Sure, but others are awesome and completing them is a lot of fun. My wife for example really loves the lasers in Frostvault, even though many call it a PUG killer. I really like the ones were the Tanks get to interact more with things like Bloodroot or Scalecaller.

    This matches my sentiment.

I simply don't have several hour blocks of time in my life where a game can have my undivided attention.

Solo vet stuff is fine since I can take breaks, walk away or fail without letting down a group of people.

15 years ago it was easier but now I need to be choosy about the content I consume and how it fits into my life.

No option for "I have no interest in dungeons". While I have no problem with two of the three DLCs each year being devoted to dungeons I do wish the dungeon DLCs all included a couple of delves, as that would broaden the appeal of the DLCs considerably. The delves could even have a veteran option for those e.g. soloers who prefer a challenge, or simply be tougher than the usual overland delves, more in the style of Craglorn.

DLC dungeons are probably my favorite type of content in the game.

I have to be mindful of mechs and can be challenged in game without having to sign up days in advance (like Trials).

The higher skill gap between base game vet and vet DLC can make pugging them a rather big Challenge, so I do wish they would start to split random vet dungeons up between Vet Dungeon and Vet Dungeon + (DLC) so you know people actually que to complete DLC content, and not just for Fungal Grotto 1

I prefer original (old) dungeons. Desing wise, story wise, ambient wise...they were better.

I really love the challenge of vet DLC dungeons. I like doing non challenging and relaxing stuff too, but I also like challenging stuff sometimes.
Nearly all of my friends have stopped playing ESO though and life has been too stressful for new socializing so I haven't been able to do newer endgame content more or less at all.
I'm confident in my ability to study some video guides and perform well first time on the spot with pugs so I might start trying that though.

I voted I dislike the OHK mechanics, mainly because I think they are overused and its become a lazy way of making content difficult.

I do actually like Vet DLC dungeons because they force you to do more mechanics, but even then, some mechanics are more fun than others. I find that this poll would probably vary based on the dungeon you are asking about, so it is probably unfair to try to generalize this topic. It might be more useful to discuss what mechanics people hate vs which ones they like. Sometimes, its a mix of mechanics that make an encounter miserable, and not just any ONE mechanic.

For instance, I hate bosses that teleport AND have a heal mechanic. It's a pain in the rear, and I would definitely enjoy some dungeons if they simply eliminated that combination of mechanic. When you start weaving in other mechanics like OHK or minion swarm, its just a miserable experience.

Oddly enough, the DLC dungeons with the mechanics that I have enjoyed the most so far are probably Scale Caller, Unhallowed Grave, and Imperial City Prison. But I could just be weird.

So many options for dislike, vs. just one for like, buried in the middle.

Hmm, how do I put this?

When it comes to ESO, there are two days every year that I look forward to the most, more than any other day. The two days are the first day of the Q1 PTS and the first day of the Q3 PTS. I will even drop out of pre-scheduled trials and other activities for it.

Jumping into a new dungeon totally blind on vet HM, on the first day of PTS is such a joy. Seeing mechanics for the first time. Figuring out what's going on. Coming up with strategies to deal with things. And since it's the first day of PTS, there is literally no way to be spoiled.

I've participated in every dungeon PTS since Mazzatun/Cradle back in 2016, and I'm looking forward to when next year's Q1 DLC hits PTS.

I enjoy them for the most part. My only criticism would be when new mechanics are introduced they should always be explained within the dungeon before they are encountered. Either though example, or npc dialog.

I enjoy vet dungeons since I don't have the time to get on board with any Trial groups. If I'm being honest the balancing between vet & hardmode is a bit iffy. Another criticism I have with pretty much any new dungeon/trial is there's too much copy & pasted mechanics and the rewards are extremely lackluster. Other than that I think the dungeon team does a okay job with the dungeons.

I like the challenge of vet dungeons, it is my preferred content. I just wish that the rewards were more worth it. Been a hot minute since we've gotten a really nice skin... Or personality for that matter. Really wish that they'd go back to needing to get the trifecta to get the rewards too, doing a simple vet run is nothing. I should have to earn my reward from vet dungeons.

The challenge aspect of vet DLC dungeons is fun. It's doing them with randoms that tends to chip away at the fun. Sometimes I've gotten lucky enough to find a group of people who know what they're doing. Other times I've ended up in groups with someone who isn't a tank at all, just a DPS with low CP and isn't good at burning anything down. At any rate, I try to run all the content I can for the experience.

Didn't vote. These are the OP's opinions...not mine.

I enjoy vet DLC dungeons...IF...I can find a good group...which is becoming harder as the majority of players simply don't want to be bothered. This, in turn, causes my enthusiasm to wane so I tend to ignore them as well.

Probably the most fun I've had in ESO was a group that met once a week to run vet content. You become friends, get to know each other's strengths and weakness, and progress in a fun way. But for one reason or another, that seems nearly impossible to do these days. :/

DLC dungeons are irrelevant to me. It is clear that many folks enjoy them so that is a good thing. Since I can't solo them and do not enjoy obtuse/complex mechanics, I simply avoid them. What I do enjoy when it comes to dungeons is soloing (on normal) a fair number of non-dlc dungeons and am delighted that I am able to do so. As a PvE soloist, there is certainly content that does not interest me (DLC dungeons, trials, PvP, anything 'vet') but that is fine - overall, the game is pretty solo/PvE friendly. :)
