Sorry, no options match for me. I can't vote.

For me, about vet content generally (no matter what MMORPG), there are 2 sides:
    - On one side, the content itself = different mechanics & bosses to be learned and understood: I do love it.
    - On the other side, the mandatory roles & associated setup (class & skills & equipment): I do hate it.

To make me do vet content, the bother to be forced to a role must be compensated - by far - by the fun I get at doing the content. For example, this is the case in my main game (GW2).

However, in ESO, I stall. Main reasons are:
    - To read this forum gave me a pretty bad image of how it goes in end game activities.
    - I dislike very much the *cough* hassle *cough* bother *cough* "concept" of crafting/getting armors & weapons. For example: >20 real days for identifying a trait that is only one out of the several elements required for one piece of armor only, and for one armor type only? To be repeated for all traits on all pieces of all armor types? Seriously? :D:s:/

All in all, due to that + a few other things, I prefer to enjoy ESO as a solo player, happily chilling in free explorable, in whatever class and equipment I like (enough for what I do), not touching any vet content.

The top of the laziness! o:)

It would be nice if the harder ones had a separate queue because sometimes you just want a normal base dungeon to face roll with trash gear you picked up while levelling. You could save the harder ones for when you have more gear and/or experience with the character.

If people enjoy that stuff, more power to them. Personally, I find the mechanics in them extremely silly. They're not a test of skill, they're a test of whether you can find the xynode guide and follow it. I gave up when I did one and got turned into a.... *clockwork skeever.* It was like mario cart or something. Cancelled ESO+ and never looked back.

Just read the description which pops up over your health bar. They are really not hard.

I didn't say they were hard. I said they were *silly*. Clockwork skeevers, really? You want to spend your time doign that, cool. I've got better things to do...

Right now I haven't done dungeons in a few months, so when I start doing them again, I know it'll be a mess. I can't blame myself for this, and I also do not blame others for this. Some in-game reminder/note of the boss mechanics when we are before a boss would do wonders.

https://xynodegaming.com/guides/allaboutmechanics runs through them all; also, if you are on PC, there is s a plugin where you can call up a window that runs through the mechanics and strategy as you enter the boss's area.

    Worth a look

Its not that bad. ZoS has also started to reign in Pug Killers for vet content, which I 100% support <Assuming they keep HM left alone>.

Honestly, its more that there isn't any other content that really kills people for ignoring mechanics. So when they enter content that, shockingly, kills you for ignoring it, then people are shocked.

People always say you need to join a guild if you want to learn the mechanics or listen to the story. But in my experience it's easier to gather a group for a trial than it is for a dungeon. I'm part of a social "casual" guild and yet most of them are cp1000 and higher. Most of them are already familiar with the dungeons and don't want to run them, if there's nothing for them. Even if the dungeon is part of a pledge it's hard to find a group. You almost always need to ask one other person from another guild so you are good to go but honestly.. it's such a hassle. I thought that companions would help with this so you can at least solo them on normal mode, but you can't even tell them to stand on a pressure plate or to pull a leaver..

Also some mechanics are just not intuitive at all. If you do a dungeon or arena on normal you probably don't notice half of the mechanics and if you do it on veteran you just die in an instant if you do one mistake. How am I supposed to figure out you need to kill x first and then stand over there, press x, walk in a circle and play /lute... Overall it's not really an enjoyable experience :/

Poll is anonymous no one will know what you voted. however your opinion is indeed appreciated.

Are you a Solo or a social player with some good friends for vet dlc's?
Personally i don't mind trying vet dlcs , completing them feels great, but it's a one and done situation i wouldn't bother with them ever again. the issue for me is i'm not a social player and i hate having to find groups and waste time on it. Trials is even worse... i have been kicked of some guilds because i couldn't show up for the trial it's stressful for me.

However what pisses me off is that these vet dlc dungeons pop up when you do daily dungeon, it's insanely annoying.
The fact all the achievements are insane for the older dlc dungeons is even worse... no death runs... on a dungeon full of insta kills? for real? you bet i'll never have that necro personality.

Worm Wizard, the Fang Lair Challenger prize? 'Dungeon full of insta kills'? Oh c'mon. Non hard mode, it's one of the easiest dlc dungeons ever, all the bosses have super obvious mechanics with very clear tells. The only way to get one shot up til last boss (assuming you do have a tank and they are indeed taunting) is to flatout ignore the tells they're shoving right into your face...well, or leave a Revivifier alive for too long :p The only even remotely challenging one is the last boss, but still, all you need is 1 person who has done it before to explain it to you and a little bit of situational awareness. The no death in Fang Lair is super easy. Heck, I've done it with pugs. Now the TRUE challenge there lies with the hard mode - that one can be very hectic, messy and make it hard to keep track of everything, especially for a tank. It's also extremely unforgiveable in terms of mistakes, if someone dies, it's almost impossible to res. That said, I've actually grown to like it and have done it enough to not find it that hard anymore.

Vet dlc's are my absolutely favourite content in ESO, I love them, I love doing them over and over and over again and getting better to where things that once seemed impossible become easy. I love doing hard modes with friends/guildies, and I love pugging them and showing people the ropes. Harder dungeons are a bit like a complicated dance - you need to learn all the moves and then just go with the rhythm. Once you understand that and begin dancing to the music, it stops being torturous and start actually being fun.

I really wish ZOS provided more incentive for doing them so people would actually have a reason to give them a try and not just shy away because they're 'too hard'.

I dislike veteran dungeons because I actually have to interact with other players and need a group, and I dislike normal dungeons because I got booted out of Volenfell recently for no reason and I have disliked it ever since.
