Grand overlord didn't mean a ton anyways but with this it would mean a lot less.

How do you level your toons rank in Cyrodiil? I at once a month to achieve Tier 1 only. I've been stuck at rank 22 for only God knows how long now. Thanks.

Getting to grand overlord is more of a journey with rewards along the way.

For rank, you need to gain AP cumulatively. The ranks require progressively more AP the higher you get. You should be able to see your progress on the Alliance War tab.

For leaderboard tiers (Tier 1 through 3) you need to gain AP for that campaign duration. Tier 3 is only like 100k AP. These determine one portion of your End of Campaign rewards are reset at the campaign's end.

Anytime you earn Alliance Points you gain rank. It's just it gets very slow....

That 25k AP for tier 1 rewards is nothing really, at your level you need like 750k alliance points to rank up.

I'm at rank 43 I think, need like 20 million AP to max out at level 50. I'm just trying to slowly chip away at it doing an hour in pvp a day.

What are you winning at? Getting ranks more quickly? Getting the associated outfit Dyes more quickly?

This is another Pay 4 Convenience and it's annoying how people can't differentiate the two.
