Why couldn't you just take a model of a griffin and remove its wings? Why did it have to be made from the senche model?

Not a huge fan of griffons but it's still a very nice mount.

Expanding into avian mounts means that there's hope for my beloved TERROR BIRD MOUNT someday!

There were some people totally outraged that the stick mounts didn't work like real mounts. They aren't going to pay attention to "quasi-griffin" and will immediately start the it doesn't fly threads.

I really like the detail. As a person who's long past wanting flying mounts/flying in games, this mount's really nice - though I too would liked it to have wings. I bet there wasn't going to be a way to rig wings so as not to interfere with a mounted person.

I remember back when Summerset came out and people were asking for flying mounts - I said that the more likely thing to happen is ZOS making up a new wingless gryphon creature to use as mounts instead. Here we are.

So we're now getting some new quasigryphon creature - which is just a reskin of the awful heavyweight model. Yet still no sight of a normal welwa, echatere, netch, silt strider, wamasu or any of the other animals in Tamriel that are used as mounts.

I love it except for the omission of wings. It's easy to imagine that it's some cousin (related species) to a gryphon.

The detailing looks amazing. I like the senche-raht animations, so sign me up.

Yeah I love the heavyweight animations so I have no problems with that at all.
I also don't mind it not having wings, cause ESO isn't set up to have flying mounts and wings would look weird I think.

The details of the skin itself look amazing, props to the artist - but applied to that Senche-Raht, it just looks like he's screaming "I shouldn't exist, please end me".

That skipped-leg-day frame was kind of quirky and cool for something unique. But its absolutely being over-milked. Its not a diverse enough form to support this many rehashes.

there is a strider kind of mount. looks like a bug. not a fan. but did you say netch? unfortunately it would need to be a quasi netch so it cant fly. ok well glide. but still not on the ground.

Can already tell it uses the Senche Raht skeleton.

I'm just, I have so much apathy now because of the Mounts in this game. At least this one isn't glowing.

The funny thing is that even the lizard reskin one is presented in the splash page at an angle which makes it harder to notice the weird tapering bodyform. Its like even the marketers know its horrible, and hope you don't notice before you buy it.

I don't know if this mount would thematically fit the unstable morpholith, rather not imho. Opinions on the mount are really extremely divergent, I also think a griffin without wings is ridiculous.

But I really like the fluffy feathery tail of Quasigriff. And the fact that this mount can be earned by doing events Very nice, for an event reward!
And such a long wait time for those events If next event, Midyear Mayhem, is in June (!) for the last part of the personality...

Poor unfortunate creature. They brutally cut off the wings and put on the saddle.
Renamed into "quasigriff", thus covering up the fact that the griffin's wings were simply torn off ..How sorry I am for you! Reminded me of the poor creature from the book "The Island of Doctor Moreau"
My heart sank when I saw this unfortunate invalid. Terrible!

They could have put the wings on it, but clipped, showing that it won't fly.

Maybe this is the mount for the Hammerfell chapter next year because Summerset and Elsweyr is done and dusted.
