I haven't had repeats so far, though we have some ways to go. It'd be interesting to see how many NPCs they've included.

@cyclonus11 I had a repeat already on a character who's done all the story content released so far. It was either 2 days in a row or with one day in between.

I really love this quest! And I love the opportunity to meet again those who were friends, comrades, respected allies, to remember them, and honor their memory.

So far I met a ghost every day, with two repetitions.

Four of them were:

Captain Nala-Do, King Laloriaran Dynar, Earl Leythen, Varen Aquilarios

And it made me happy and wistful at the same time, it was wonderful to remember our journeys together.

But there is one, and I met here twice already, that must be there to haunt me.

I didn't like her when I first met her. I came to think of her as a rabid dog that should be put down as fast as possible. I assumed that was done.
Then she resurfaced and did even worse things than before, with a totally flimsy excuse that did nothing to hide her selfish, stupid, cruel nature. That made me hate her guts, and I was happy to see her die for good (hopefully)!
And who is the first ghost in the first Old Life Quest that appears? Her! Unbelievable! No idea what the devs were thinking with this one.

I did this quests on my main (and essentially only character), who did the main story, all quests in Daggerfall zones, nearly all in Dominion zones (with the exception of a handful that require to slaughter Daggerfall troups), including their respective main quest, a lot in the Pact zones, and everything everywhere else with the exception of Orsinium, DB and TG main quests, and Greymoor+Markarth.
So, sadly, there are a lot of people who died, who I'd love to meet again.

I honestly didn't expect the villains to appear. I thought most of them would end up in the depths of Oblivion, not in Aetherius.

There were 1-2 empty days and I got a repeat once already.
This is a heartwarming quest, but the list of spirits seems oddly specific. For example,

Little leaf

Got her the first day and was like "eh?.." There's another certain time-travelling NPC from Craglorn which would make more sense, I think...
Other possible options feel fine and bittersweet.

Where's Bala?
I absolutely want to console her and make sure she rests in peace at last... sadly, no such opportunity in this quest.
Oh well. There are headcanons for stuff like this...

So, there's nothing new and there are really only 12 persons (saw all them in PTS). Well, it's not bad.

Most of appearances are clear or even surprised, but 2 of them I don't understand. Naemon and Little Leaf. I can't remember that we were friend with them. You know, if we'll look at Craglorn storyline, this old mage Kelmen Locke have more chances to get a word from Vestige than Leaf, not to mention our friend from the past Titus. The same with Naemon — he was closer to his sister than to Vestige.

On a more serious note - how much of story quests have you done? You need specific quest completed for each of the ghosts.

I love this new quest! Very touching, quick and simple, and brought a few tears. It's nice to have a visit from old friends and enemies from the quests I've done over the years. I've seen:

Varen, Shazah, Khali, Leythan, Archmaester Iachesis (*sp), King Kurog, Little Leaf (I had to look her up - only played the zone once, and very inconsistently a couple/few years ago) , Kassandra, Prince Naemon, Veya, King Dynar, Captain Nala Do.

Shazah, Khali and King Dynar were the hardest - got pretty choked up. (Reaper's March, actually, is the hardest zone for me to play... so, so sad.)

I was glad to see Varen - confirms he's dead and won't make a comeback like Lyris and Sai. I was glad to NOT see Darien. Means he's still alive

Some orc. Didn't hang around long enough for his inane chat. Had zero personal connection to any npcs in this game because to be quite frank, the writing is basic stuff. When all the quests amount to simplistic puzzle, fetch or run to 4 corners of the allocated area for some lazy assed npc, it's difficult to not just switch off your brain and zip through them and their dialogue. Those two cats folk are talking about, I couldn't even tell you the details about why they did what they did. I also just choose whichever one I happen to be standing closest to.

I like fleshed out characters in games such as Divinity 2, The Witcher etc. ESO is nowhere near that story telling and I stopped playing ESO for story 6 years ago. I literally couldn't tell people what any dungeon stories are and half the stuff in the chapters even though I've done most of them more times than i care to remember. They're done for undaunted and skill points reasons.

. Seeing this spirit on this character doesn't match her canon super well. I don't mind at all but I do want this character to see someone from Murkmire since, while the exact events of the Murkmire mq are not related to her, meeting one character from there in particular is.
