So my StamBlade Ka'atali just did it. I wa hoping for someone like Khali. A character that really fit with the story of mine. Instead,

Veya showed.

At first, I was confused, and disappointed. Why would a Villain twice over appear instead of someone my Kaat actually connected with. Then I thought a little about it. Kaat spared Veya on Vvardenfell. Her life was a tragedy and I didn't want to have her taken from Naryu. Having her return in Summeret serving Nocturnal felt like a gut punch, causing regret for sparing her, but killing her at the end was a necessary mercy. She was led astray. Now she can be with her Brother again.

My character is standing at the Shrine with the Meloncholy personality while I write this.

looking back, Ayrenn insisting that she wanted us to say that Naemon died saving her is really heartbreaking.

I think the amount of quests affect the chance to get spirits. on my completionist characters, i have yet to have not seen a spirit

My oldest char who has completed Caldwells gold saw a spirit first time out, however my newest char w much less storyline under her belt hasnt seen any after several attempts, so, ya i guess its logical older chars will be more likely to see a spirit.

I I do recommend that this is done in 3rd person view w camera above and rotated so u can see behind yre char, as the spirits i got were behind, and lasted maybe 3 seconds if that, so blink and you will miss it.

The spirits require you to complete quests to see them. you probably did more quests on your older character, which is why, not the age of your character itself.

DAY 3 of two of my mains who have done several questlines and zone completions seeing no spirits, give it up for DAY 3

I've now done it 3 times, all on my main character who has completed the main storyline and several others, and twice I made sure there were only a few people at the shrine and zoomed out to see all around me and saw nothing.

Best guess: the ghost is despawning before they actually load in, or something is bugged.
