Which Spirit did your character see during the Imperial New Life Quest?

Well, dunno if I'm lucky, but on my main character, who has completed every quest playable in the game untill now, I've seen a ghost every time I did the quest.

More precisely (I'm a sick completionist) I wanted to take screenshot or video of these ghosts, so I took the quest (and always pick the option to burn the messages from the refugees, dunno if this can change the outcome), went to the shrine and waiting the moment were there were not a lot of player and performed the ritual, and the ghost appeared... Screenshot/video taken, I cancelled the quest, and have redone that at least 20 times to see what ghost I could catch, and it worked every time! (I'm still doing this method, to see if some new ghost appears)

But like someone already said, I think one must have completed a lot of Main Questline Zones in order to see those ghosts, Base game and DLC.

Untill now I have seen 11 of the 12 ghosts you all have written here, I miss only King Kurog

Varen Aquilarios. Since you see him dead at the end of Orsinium, you know he's in Aetherius and shouldn't be coming back, barring some sort of necromantic activity.

You are flat out told that the "Responses" are from Aetherius if you inquire with the Quest Giver.

I saw Prince Naemon once. And that's the only time I've seen any spirit on any of the 4 characters I was running quests on - and now I'm done because there's nothing to spend tickets on that I want, my accounts all have 12 already, and I got my level 45 to 50 this morning, and my CP 144 to CP 160 yesterday.

I haven't seen any spirits yet.
I'm assuming that because the four times I've run it so far have been on new characters (in the vicinity of levels 10-13) with no significant quest experience yet, so they haven't met anyone who would have died in order to come back as a spirit?

I haven't read any of the responses in this thread yet, so I can only assume that is how the quest works; drawing on your character's prior interactions with certain NPCs in the game.

One of my characters has done literally EVERYTHING in Murkmire, and out of the 5 event days so far, has not seen the spirit from Murkmire at all. wtf

Yup, currently doing new life stuff only on my most recent char, who started in Western Skyrim, then did Markath, both areas completed, and Coldharbour is all done, but only now has arrived in greenshade doing Ad storyline .. so little main story experience, and so far Zero ghosts.

not really a problem, just need a few more recipes and 2 motif pages, then im done w new life.

I noticed, now that the shrines aren’t as busy and fewer players are around, that these spirits do have nametags so I can see who they are.

Abnur Tharn. Only damn eso character I that I cried for when he died. I cry pretty easy but not usually for Eso characters. Edit: ok Darian too. I cried then too after the last note. even though he had the personality of a brick in the vanilla zones(although that may be due to voice acting,or a combination of voice acting and writing) he didnt deserve that fate. But I know he wont appear. he has been utterly destroyed. no soul. nothing. gone forever.

I wonder if there is any difference between accepting and refusing the bundle of other people messages from Petronius Galenus. I tried to refuse it once, but did not see any changes.

I normally get vet very attached to characters in games but this was extraordinary

King Kurog, I was so conflicted about that wonderfully complex character, always felt my main would have loved to hang out with him and drain a few tankards while telling bad jokes
Little Leaf, there are few foes in these stories that the world is not better for their removal but that one hurt, such a bright little star
Laloriaran Dynar, because as a decent soul he realy got the short end of the stick, got a bit of a lump in my throat there

I've gotten both Kurug and Cassandra and had no idea why. Is this ZOS trying to retcon my character into forgiving them? Ur, not gonna happen. I'm perfectly fine with how their stories ended and they should stay away from my celebration.

Oh.. did not realize you are supposed to see a spirit of something. I have to quit blazing through it, per character, just to get it done and to the next. Ha ha
