Between Vvardenfell, dragons, Skyrim, and now Oblivion, I think ZOS has decided that nostalgia is where the money is at.

Before you know it we will be looking for the Staff of Chaos.

The place on the trailer looks a bit more like part of Black Marsh, especially if you consider the presence of the Argonian with Eveli which strikes me as a guide of sorts. Maybe we won't go to Skingrad after all, and instead, to (South)Eastern Cyrodiil/Western Blackmarsh. Thoughts?

Skingrad, near the River Strid as Lyris hinted, with a view from Valenwood? Leyawiin over the Niben River? Gideon in Black Marsh?
Why is there an ancient Argonian temple? It might be in a separate location to the city location (perhaps a dungeon DLC or prologue location), so it may not necessarily be a chapter in Black Marsh or neighbouring Nibenay. The trailer does not show it as being in the same area as the city.

The Argonian guides are a trailer meme at this point. They are in several trailers as useless guides/escorts.

Oh gods. Is there anything they can do without messing up?

I agree.. but I imagine the Argonian temple will throw people off.
The layout from Oblivion does have the temple next to the separate Castle Skingrad.. and Skingrad is right next to the River Strid.
