I had a hard crash a couple of times two or three years ago when my graphics card packed up. Otherwise, I've probably had two or three soft crashes to desktop with an "ESO closed unexpectedly" error message since launch, including once about a few weeks ago. Playing non-competitive solo/cooperative PvE on PC EU and NA without addons.

Two so far today and I'm not even finished doing writs, let alone any actual playing.

at least 4 times yesterday:

- twice in one random dungeon, 2nd boss, EH2. 3/4 of the group also crashed exact same time.
- once on final boss in nHRC
- once in Fang Lair, 2nd boss, another group member crashed exact same time

Averaging a crash every 3-4 dungeons it seems

Rarely crashed before Markarth update

More than 12 times yesterday.
I was playing 9 to 5.
Both pc and ps4.
I thought it was the addons fault on my pc but ps4 also crashes a lot.

ZOS has been doing optimizations, so make sure your drivers are up-to-date(including BIOS). If ZOS implemented new ways/commands to control the CPU/GPU, it could be possible the crashes are caused by out-of-date drivers.

My game used to crash on a specific summerset boss's skill, updating my BIOS drivers fixed it. (including crashes in some other games) **Edit: Only let a professional do this!**

I'm not saying all your crashes are caused by this(or even any). But if it helps even one of you guys, it was worth it to post this. Just trying to help!

One yesterday, trash mob in vCoA2, healer crashed on last boss.
Today nSpindlecluch 1, the 3 others in group got the freeze bug on last boss, no idea why I was not hit, perhaps not blocking?

I’ve had 4 last week while doing random normals. First time in years, I think.

At least 2 crashes per day on PC and at least 4 blue screens n freezes per day console, since last patch came out.

Four Crashes to Desktop Yesterday and i am just logging on for the first time today so we will see.
This has been everyday since the last Patch not a day without Crash to Desktop Pc Eu.
Oh and this is with and without add-ons active,I have tested both ways.

I've had 2 crashes to desktop since the patch. Probably spread over 10 hours or so.

Over 15 times the last week, almost all in dungeons, though I didn't even do dungeons every day.

It happened the most during the fight with Rinaerus and Orzun when I was a DD. Often when Rinaerus started casting his snowstorm I crashed, but only me. The other DD did not knew the mechanics very well, so this took a few tries until I didn't crash for once..

It's been merciful to me, but people in my pvp groups were dropping like flies on Grey Host PC NA. Group lead dropped 3 times in about 4 hours, which was super helpful in fights.

I use a massive amount of addons as well, so I am either very lucky or it's *probably not the addons.

*Unless it's one I am not using. But it's probably not the addons.

I’ve been having several varieties since Markarth. Outside of particular patches, like Wolfhunter, I very rarely crash or freeze. Disconnects in Cyro galore, but not actual crashing or freezing more than once every month or two. (PC-NA)

Now I get:

-CTDs (no error report), especially during moderately populated battles in Cyro (not a faction stack, decent fps and ping/latency for Cyro)

-CTDs (with error report) in higher-demand situations in Cyro (e.g. getting Roomba’d by a ball group that was spawn camping in an unflipped unflagged keep)

-Sudden freezes requiring task manager to close the .exe (waited a few minutes and then tried Alt+F4, to no avail), most recently in Crimson Cove public dungeon when soul trap + jabsing a single group of mobs

I have actively avoided Undaunted dungeons because of the multitude of crashes reported.

I get a Sudden freezes followed after a second or two by a windows pop message that ESO is no longer responding asking Wait or Close.

Have gotten them since update 28 in Overland, Dungeons, and Trials.

Everyday crashes. Record is 5 times in a row.
Seems very randome.
Happens everywhere. Cyrodiil, dungeons, open world.

No addons, all driver up-to-date.
Never had that problem before.
