So it's been an entire year now.....

It's been a year and magnecros still have a useless blastbones morph. Can one of the devolopers at least respond to why this ability has not been given a new morph effect? Do you need help? I am certain the community can give some nice ideas for new morph effects.... or is this a case of magblades where you are just going to pretend the class does not exist(pvp perspective btw)?

Unfortunately, it would appear that ZOS is using a FIFO queue in regards to addressing useless morphs. Seeing as several of the base classes have been waiting quite some time on their requests, it may be a good while longer before blastbones gets to the top of the queue.

It could be worse. They could be using a Bogo Sort implementation on unused morph requests, similar to what they seem to use in regard to balance changes.

Lol, yes, I do mean FIGODFE.

In all seriousness though, in regards to OP's post, magcros do deserve a useful morph of blastbones. If stamnecros can summon a pretty powerful and useful morph though sheer physical will, then the practitioners of the Magical art of Necromancy deserve a morph just as useful. (Or at least a comment addressing the current state of the morph).

I would definitely take a free second cast over bonus damage that won't apply at all except in situations where it doesn't matter (ie, someone basically escaped from me and healed up while locking out my recast of Blastbones on a different target).

We also shouldn't forget the vast power differences between Stamina Warden, which is basically god-tier, and Magicka Necromancer, which is only kept even remotely relevant by proc sets...which can be utilized even better by other classes. While it might be annoying for a Stamina Warden to switch their build up to utilize either a 1h/shield or Vateshran Destruction Staff on the back bar, they did at least gain a GCD while still maintaining access to a powerful debuff. The Magicka morph of Blastbones, on the other hand, has been bad the entire time that it has existed.

I'm not confident that we'll get a useful morph any time soon, especially since there are some pretty major class-bugs that haven't been touched...including ones that have been in since Elsweyr's PTS (ie, the Spirit Healer often not healing at all, rendering one morph - the one that only Magicka builds would really utilize - totally worthless a lot of the time).
