I'm sure they're quaking in their boots.
If 1 million PVE players stopped their sub for the duration, it would cost them millions. It still probably wouldn't change anything, but it would make ME feel good.
don't go into sewers. ticket quests are all upstairs in a city proper.

If you want to collect the Second Legion pages, then after you turn in your IC quest back in your alliance's base you can look for a group that's farming the smaller bosses-- not the patrolling horrors, but the ones that spawn at the locations with the two crossed swords icon.
EDIT-- Down in the sewers, that is.

[snip] pretty much every other event is PvE. PvPers have to do PvE for the PvE events, just like you have to do some PvP content for Midyear, it's not unfair or bad design in any way. If you don't want to do PvP, just skip this event, just like what tons of PvPers do for the PvE events.
As a (mostly) quest player, I'm loving this event. If all goes according to plan, I will be able to unlock all the alliance war active skills on my 18 characters
Thank you ZOS!
As a (mostly) dungeon PvE player, I am loving this event. Imperial city feels alive and I can actually dip my toes in high paced PvP pretty on demand. A lot of death, but sometimes I get kills. Fun.

Honestly I've seen pvpers complaining about pvers in their pve and some saying they'd keep killing them till they all leave. The event is aimed at rewards that have more interest to pve players aside from the extra ap during event to get pvers in it.

Any game that forces PVE players to engage in PVP activities for ANY reason, even to gain some silly pixel reward like an Indrik mount, is catering to the worst aspect of the gaming community.
I speak of the aspect that in Black Desert Online for an obvious example, sit and gank crafters and fishers all day instead of seeking actual challenge or some semblance of sportsmanlike conduct and legit competition.
I'm talking about people who, knowing there is an influx of PVE players, go total ham selfish and camp entry points (and exit points) to the sewers, trapping people with no PVP gear or chance to defend themselves, nor interest in being there, basically wasting their time and ruining their experience.
For all I know, that is actually the whole reason they do it. Because it makes them happy to waste other people's time.
Any time a game is set up in such a way that rewards this type of behavior, even if not the explicitly intended result, I feel like I am contributing to a bad parent rewarding a child for rolling around on the floor in a place of business, knocking things off shelves and causing a scene.
I feel compelled to do more to protest my vicarious sponsorship of such behavior.
I do not mind dying on occasion, or having to complete one quest for a BG and IC(for event tickets). What I do mind is that the midyear boxes we get are totally worthless, just some crappy supplies. And that we have to farm bosses in a pvp environment(IC) to try and get outfit pages which hardly ever seem to drop. Yet are the only thing worthwhile.
The outfit pages should be in the midyear mayhem boxes, so we are not forced to stay in a pvp environment to farm PvE bosses there. I'm still aiming for the second legion pages, but I do not enjoy trying... at all!
PS: I really dislike PvP, but I did experience some fun moments.

Um...did you really just say that THE PvP event, featuring double reward for killing other players, is somehow targetting PvEers?o.O The very idea of Midyear Mayhem is double AP. MM without double AP is like fishing without fish or MA without MA weapons.

Or camping the exits and stuff comes after reading some demands at the forums for PVP events to stop being a thing. Personally after reading these kind of demand posts.. i feel like doing the same honestly. I have a very nasty ganker for it.
Even i normally not do such things but let pve questers get their daily tickets unless they attack me first. But these kind of demands.. that the 2 events we have (IC and Mayhem) should not exist makes me sorta bloodlusted. There are PVE only events the rest of the year, all other events.
So maybe let us enjoy these 2 events as we let you enjoy your PVE events?

I've been going to low pop zones and just sneaking across Cyrodiil for scouting missions. Imperial City is a little more tricky, and you're bound to get someone jumping you when you try to kill some dremora or whatever, but I just let people kill me and respawn right back to the same area, wait a few minutes for them to run off again and carry on with my day.

The best and, imo, quickest Cyrodiil daily is go up to Memorial District and grab the quest up top there. You just have to kill 2 Xivkin of any kind and place orbs on 4 skeletons (in green and unkillable, btw) all around the center there.

I am being forced to play PVE dungeons to get the gear I need, you are in pvp for some shiny swag. Hardly seems to be a real issue.
It is funny though 2 hitting players with fancy skins and titles from pve on a build that is 50% complete.

You must be new...even PvEers HAVE to engage with PvP to get certain Alliance War skills anyway. For example VIGOR which is most Stamina players main heal. Kinda entitled to demand that the PVP community doesn't EVER get an event for them event though 90% of events are PVE centered. Don't like it? Guess you can BUY the event tickets to get your mount pieces and pet and even the drops of style pages that happen during these events. And you want to minimize ganking??? Make sure you go to a campaign that is heavily populated with YOUR alliance. Everytime I look at campaigns for Cyrodiil or Imperial City, there is always at least 1 that favors 1 of the 3 alliances. Ask for groups or start your own. I am sorry you are realizing that their are ppl in PvP whose WHOLE purpose is to make other players miserable, but welcome to PvP world. There are definitely a few guilds that purposely portray such behavior too (cough, Toxic, cough).

Well I'll agree that it is odd to put pvp gear in pve. You'd think they'd put that in pvp rewards.
