while the extended maintenance and rather frequent down times are annoying the game is enjoyable. I would not, however, recommend any additional purchases withing the game unless you are happy to put up with these problems.
It has nothing to do with "the actual state of the game". If your friend likes TES lore, this game is just mandatory to have with all it's DLC's.
With that said, the 29's patch better fix the game freezes and crashes that came with Greymoor. If it doesn't, then I wouldn't be so sure of my statement anymore. It's just shameful.
I would, but telling him/her that the group gameplay is lacking a lot and the about the terrible interface and the insane and inefficient trade system. There are 6 year of content so one can play 1-3 monthes, just enough to try a few classes and to manage to to the veteran arena and to kill some world bosses. After that cancel eso+ and try to play here and there managing your bags.
I would recommend it to anyone who loves elder scrolls because when it works it is amazing and time flies but I wouldn’t leave any of its problems out I would be brutally honest about its lag performance issues and bugs that come with the good.
Absolutely not. But I don't know what the intent of this thread is other than to get people to start bashing ZoS...which historically has been shown to be effective.
Of course I would. I wouldn't even waste time on a game I wouldn't recommend to friends. Not sure why anyone is here if they are THAT miserable but to each his own.
The game is good. Ofc there are things i dislike but in general the game is good, if not, i wouldn't be paying eso+.
The management of the Company regarding the weekly maintenance is awful. They should deliver more money to that department. In any other MMO i found this situation. And in a game with 2.5m players connecting, Europe servers should be located in Europe and have the maintenance schedule at night, as all the other big games do.
The biggest concern is...3 years ago the game had the same problem. Three years it seems they don't see a problem at all. So nothing is gonna change.
Poll's gonna be pretty biased; forums are occupied primarily by people who hate the game and ZOS, but can't move on. Hell, even I'm only here because I can't log in at the moment... but it'll take a lot more than that to turn me around on ESO.
(That's not a challenge, ZOS.)
Thank Stendarr it’s Fredas. Elanirne: Altmer Templar Healer, DC Auria Dolabella: Imperial Nightblade Tank, DC
The SAME core issues have plagued this game throughout the years, and never been properly fixed. Dungeon finder breaks constantly, PVP fills entirely mismatched teams, Cyrodil is a total lagfest, and seemingly EVERY server maintenance they break the EU server...
Add on top all the million and one minor bugs, and the ones that stack up on top every new expansion...
This is an MMORPG with POTENTIAL, but it's squandered by the usual poor choices consistently made by the games industry.
Can’t be dealing with ZOS’s repeated incompetence..... just how many times does PC EU have to fall over before they get their act together. At least with the Undaunted Event the server didn’t collapse until after the Event started.... now it’s collapsed before things even get going... f-ing disgrace
YES, why wouldn't I? It's a great game, been playing since Beta. Admittedly it has it's ups and downs (LIKE ANY OTHER MMO) but the fact remains A LOT of people play the game and enjoy it.
Those that REALLY hate the game quit and move on to pastures new or spend their time moaning on the forums.
