Yes, at pretty much the same time that the Bethesda Support twitter posted that PS4 EU was back up.
Anyone else suspect that action on PC EU was being held off until all of the other servers were up to contain complaints to a single server?

What's the big deal of making a big deal of people's post and complaining about it?
You started A WHOLE NEW TOPIC whinining why the maintenance kept more than they said and you say that I made a big deal out of it? I only answered to your illogical topic, didn't start a new one for absolutely no reason. IT MAKES PERFECT SENSE to have extended downtime during maintenance because unexpected issues are common with such complicated hardware and software. There is absolutely no reason to act as if they stole your sweetroll and stop making a big deal just because you lost a few hours from your play time.
If you are not illiterate, maybe you should have realised that yes I started a new topic, but just STARTED it, all these so-called "whining" comes from different people with similar feeling making comments here. And if there is the slightest trace of sanity in you, you should have inferred that when a post is not off-topic and attracts so many comments, then it is not a "illogical topic" "posted for absolutely no reason" except by some truly illogical standard. And finally, if you are not so egocentric, you should have noticed that if by your definition anyone posting a complaining topic or comment should be judged as make-big-deal whiner, then this is exactly what you are!
You started the topic when extended maintenance was announced. And just because others have the same mentality as you do, doesn't mean you re right. Their whinning is as absurd as yours. 10-100-1000 people with wrong opinions don't make their opinion valid or their negative reactions logical.
Also, what I did was ask you a question, reply to your original post. I didn't start a new thread moments after the maintenance was extended, as if it was sth SO IMPORTANT we should worry about and whine in a separate thread about it.
"Extended maintenance makes no sense" LOL.................It's at this point in your post I realized you work for ZOS. The lack of comprehension of time gives you away!
OMG, detective Cluzo uncovered my true identity!

I'm not usually happy to be wrong. I am glad that I am wrong this time.
Of course with the 10 minutes required to log in, it is now dinner time and my time to play today has been entirely wasted... but what was I hoping for?
"I only answered to your illogical topic, didn't start a new one for absolutely no reason." Then you claim that "Their whinning is as absurd as yours." to those also just made comments. And I admire your thick skin to first say "What's the big deal blabla" and then pretend like some harmless rabbit "I'm just asking a question! nothing offensive or sarcastic!"
"10-100-1000 people with wrong opinions don't make their opinion valid or their negative reactions logical. " Surly, and a lonely man must be a hero! What does this hero do? Make another list of whining! I'm sure making a new post is something more terrible that 4 hours sever down(initially) without any reason, so complaining the latter makes you a whiner, but complaing the former make you a truly hero, like undaunted!
I have to admit that at beginning your comment really make me uneasy, but this level of narcissism? Now I just feel amusement. Thanks you for bringing so many pleasure to us in the down time.

Nah, we should all react as if it is the end of days, a meteorite threatening to wipe humanity from the face of the earth.
"OMG, I lost 3 hours from playing ESO, how am I going to deal with it?"

Reasonable sentiment wrapped in bias. Not everything is filtered thorough your disposition. Some people have limited time to play or are sick or sad and need something to distract them from that. Or want to enjoy the game just because they respected the provided timetable. When that timetable changes significantly it will cause some discontent. Looking down at impatient players so you can seem level headed might have the opposite effect.

I am probably referring to those impatient enough... Not those with limited time to play...

Post after post and you keep skipping the core message of my first post, which was "what's the big deal with an extended maintenance", hiding behind characterizations and baseless counterarguments of the type "you make it a big deal by asking why I am making it a big deal" when I am not making a big deal of anything, you are by starting a topic which is like announcing your opinion to the public, totally different from a simple post. No matter if I am a "harmless rabbit", a "lone hero" or some "illiterate guy" (English is not my native language), it doesn't change the fact that you found the extended maintenance sth important to complain about by starting a new topic. That's what I am saying. It isn't important and you shouldn't care so much.
Now, you can keep making baseless assumptions and reach absurd conclusions to make yourself feel better and not "uneasy".
