How about not making such silly statements as “my ssd has burned because of a crash” then?
Try describing the problem (in the correct forum) and people might be able to help
Thanks for the bump. Anyway, my ps4 crashed multiple times because of this issue, that's why it finally failed. Again, no issues present anywhere else, multiple people reporting the same thing. Tell me again it's because of all of us suddenly having a failing hdd at the same time.
This is the general forum, where more people will see it, it's mentioned in the post why I posted it here, another reading failure on your part. Ignore it if you have issues with people trying to get help.
What issue??? You’ve failed to explain it aside from “I’ve reinstalled ESO and my hard drive blew up”
There’s quite a clear difference between hardware and software!
From what you’ve explained Your hardware has failed mate. Might be the ssd, might be something else like your PS4 - dunno - but It’s not ESO.
If you don’t think it is then fine, but please explain Coherrantly the issue!

I play PC but I have ESO on my PS4 Pro and went to it and when its highlighted, it lagged just to move from download to the 3 dots and took a few seconds to back out. LOL How can the link to the download even lag? I wouldnt thing that would be a ESO thing itself.
I think a tag is in order @ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_JessicaFolsom

Instead of just hovering over it try pressing down and selecting the psn store or activities.

Sorry, I wasn't as clear as I should have been! I mean to say that menus don't lag after hovering over the icon. I tested it before I posted this to be sure. Here's what I did:
I went to my games folder and cycled through my apps. After hovering over one, I pressed up, left to the next folder, right to the games folder again, down to the app, and held the PS button to open the quick menu. The behavior was the same when I got to the ESO app, and I visited a couple of its neighboring apps again to be sure. I didn't try opening the PS store. I try not to go there too much because the store itself causes my system to hang.
I didn't post because I doubt anyone is having issues. I think if they are going to resolve issues, they need all the information they can get, even from people that aren't having it as bad.

It's all good, I just meant that when you hover over an app it usually has a drop down menu that lets you select things like overview/trending/activity and a quick access to the psn store.
The issue I have been noticing though is that when you access the drop down menu for ESO, it seems to cause the PS4 to begin lagging and stuttering. It becomes even worse when you try to access this drop down menu while the game is actually running. It leads to even worse effects like a blue screen error codes or inputs not being able to go through in the system U.I. or in the game itself.
I've been trying this with different apps and games and it seems to only occur when accessing ESO.
Thanks for clarifying though, am just trying to gather more info on this issue.

Oh, you know what? I actually forgot about those drop down menus entirely. I stuff my games in a folder, and it minimizes the amount of information that pops up.
Okay, I've just done more or less the same test, but I went down instead of up. It's not a very good test, because I live in a very rural place with poor internet, so my PS4 has always struggled to load these. I think ESO's may be a little worse than the others? I can't tell for sure.

It's possible. I've been testing with a wired connection at 100 Mpbs download and only ESO seems to be causing the issue. I've been sending some info to Sony as well to see if they can confirm anything but will probably have to wait until Monday to see.
You might get more luck from Sony then from ZoS to be honest. ZoS doesn't care your game is crashing (standard occurrence on PC), but they will care if Sony threatens to not certify future updates due to potential console software / hardware damage.
I assume Sony has a way to report this sort of thing?

How does a sshd get burned? And what does that mean?
