Crashed twice. Once right after login when I was traveling to Murkmire from Auridon (knocked out to login screen while on Murkmire load screen and got several "You're already logged in" messages).

Second I was just scrolling through items to decon at the Riften jewelry crafting station. That one was a freeze, with a crash feedback popup.

All addons were disabled for both crashes.

Multiply this experience by six months: that’s what PS4 players have been dealing with. No one listened to us. Everyone disregarded us. People told us to buy gaming PCs, told us to check our internet, told us our subpar icky console hardware was overheating, etc.

While it sucks that you guys are dealing with this, it’s nice to know we aren’t the only “peasants” of this community anymore. ZOS needs to fix this damn problem once and for all. We’ve all spent WAY too much money on this game to put up with performance issues like this. I just hope, for your sake, that ZOS does not leave you hanging for half a year as well.

And when this patch rolls out to PS4... :no_mouth:

I sure hope so too as i just invested 3k into building an PC really hate not being able to play the game still do to poor management

Man, that sucks... I really hope you didn’t build the PC solely for ESO. :(

If ZOS doesn’t fix this problem quickly, then we can pretty much pay our last respects to the few remaining console ESO players, and will almost certainly see long-term PC players throwing in the towel as well.

It’s like the devs WANT the game to to die...

A lot of the crashes we're seeing are actually due to out-of-date addons; please make sure they are disabled until the addon authors have a chance to update.

    As another info:

Some in Cyro crashed up to 10 times in 2 hours.

Most crashes seem to affect multiple players at the same time.

So no addon but a code problem.

I am running no addons, and have crashed 11 times this evening, all in Cyrodiil.

Outside of Cyrodiil performance was actually noticeably better for me, but all I did was writs, so wasn't much of a test.

I'm hopeful whatever is causing the Cyrodiil crashes gets hotfixed very very soon.

Yes i did do this solely for playing eso on pc as iam cp 1400 on ps4 with everything complete and want to feel that my game times for more then unusable cp points and because eso on ps4 is so poor when it comes to campaign now days not big on missing tics over bluescreens every time an keep sees an fight

I crashed twice in PVP in about an hour. Gonna give it a day or two I think. Other than the crashes, my FPS was noticeably up. More than double in a lot of cases, so there is that. I was sitting very at a very stable 100 FPS outside of combat in Cyro, at 3440x1440 on Ultra. I did a fresh reinstall, so I havent fined tuned the Graphics settings in any way.

Crashes on patch day are to be expected to some degree, those aside, I think some progress has been made. Now of course, if this is still happening in a week or two...

I suspect that a lot of the devs themselves are ready to throw in the towel today. The tech team too.

Out of interest, my character and the entire 24-person EP group I was with in Cyrodiil had multiple game crashes to desktop in Aleswell Keep, starting 1.5 hours BEFORE the servers went down on Monday morning (PC/NA, Kaalgrontiid). Is it possible that there is some other network component that is flaky, specifically affecting PvP, that didn't get reset during the big U25 maintenance upgrade on Monday morning?

I am sorry for all of you who's game is crashing, that is annoying and frustrating.
It would be nice if those who comment on here that are not experiencing problems could show a bit of empathy.
Im happy for you if you're not having issues but some players obviously are and I hope they get some help so they can deal with the issue and enjoy their game.

If their game was working properly im sure they wouldn't be wasting their time posting 'fake posts'.

So every time I crashed was riding my mount. One person in my group had it happen after a port into a keep but usually also mounted.

One time, I was a bit behind the other 3 players in my group and they crashed so I rode up to where they were intending to stealth and wait for them. When I got to where they were, I crashed.

Another time; there was just 3 of us and we all 3 dismounted at the same spot without doing so. Our mounts just disappeared. We remounted noting how that was weird, and made it about 5 steps, then crashed.

yep, it's a disconnect every 20-30 min or more on average for most it seems. They are going to say it's add ons that need updated, and maybe in some cases they are right....but if they are still saying that in 7-14 days......we shall see how this goes.
