I was playing the game an hour ago just fine. Logged out to go get some exercise. An hour or so later, cannot log in now--after multiple attempts. These frequent log-in issues are really getting tiresome!

What I want to know.... If you purchased through Steam, can you log in? Or are you getting the same error as the rest of us?

We are currently investigating issues some players are having regarding logging into the megaservers. We will update as new information becomes available.

I cant see or read this anymore!!!!! I'll update my subscription to unsubscription!
For what do we pay?? To wait and hope when we can play there is one day we can play without any issues???

They are probably all related. Coding is surprisingly hard. Especially with networking. It sucks that we can't play, but it is hardly like they are all there eating pizza and laughing at us. As little fun as we are having now, they are having much, much less.

It's 2:10 PSt, game crashed when changing toons, and have had this issue for the last hour. Relogged, turned game off completely several times, no luck.

someone answered already on that, they have a different issue as "server not responding" or something like that.

The same issues for years, and every time they "fix" it they have to "fix" it again as the issues haven't been solved at all.

Yes but the budget and time goes to that, also some of the people who will be fixing the bugs will be needed to make the dlc. So yes they should just skip the Q1 dungeon dlc

I wouldn't mind all that if ZOS told us NOW that they will do something for the players who cannot login today, like extending the event or at least giving 2 event tickets to all who couldn't login. Some people don't have enough time to wait until they solve the problems.

But all they do is tell us to be patient....

Having the same problems as the rest of you, apparently. I purchased and log in through Steam, but the result is the same.

My guess is they're using a quorum-based consistency level on their login database servers, with some of those servers being in EU (for reduced latency during login for EU customers), which will cause failure during reads and write operations depending on consistency and replication level on their databases, like I mentioned here.

Oh well, another day without Arena skull. That will teach me to put it off until everything else is done.

The prices on arena motifs dropped so low this year, it probably isn't worth the time spent, anyway.

Likely not in their control at all. If I had to guess, their database administrators are probably temporarily reconfiguring their databases to have all operations be performed against the U.S. login servers. If I had to guess, it'll mean login queues globally until the database servers in EU are back up, at which point either they'll bring them all down for maintenance again assuming they have to bring the database servers down in the first place.
