The most savage quotes come from guards with bounty collection, and NPCs responding to failed pick-pocketing attempts though--I don't remember any verbatim, but the sass is on point

I have hundreds of screenshots with interesting or funny things from NPCs...
But I've finally done questing in Murkmire two months ago, and overall it was truly the best content I've experienced in ESO so far! I never cried so much over a game story as I did in the end, so well written and so touching I still cry when I look at screenshots and read the lines from the last quest...

I will post just a little of all the memorable lines (some contain spoilers for Murkmire, so I will put those screenshots under spoiler tags).

1) "There's nothing quite so peaceful as casting a line. It's like an anchor for tranquility."



2) "Taking a life closes more doors than it opens."

3) "Everything changes, but nothing ends."

4) "If you fall here, you fall to the Void. So do not fall."

OMG...
For me it has to be the dialog from quest that Abnur Tharn sends you on to investigate 3 disturbances in Northern Elsweyr. For one of them, you meet two Kajits (Asazeh & Thaeduna) who are examining a dead ogrim. When you start the conversation, Asazeh yells out "...Don't Touch The Dead Thing..." and I laughed my a$$ off😂🤣. It's not so much what he says but the way he says it. I enjoyed the line so much, I created a new character JUST to hear it again.

So, remember fellow ESO-Players - when you're roaming around Tamriel... Don't Touch The Dead Thing!!🤣
