DO Sorcs even HAVE a class rep?

I cannot for the life of me understand the nerfs to magsorc other than a move to move major sorcery, the magsorcs's main class buff, to the mages guild skill tree so players would want to buy it?

I mean who is our class rep and did he/she just let this uber nerf. slide?
Did he/she not raise an objection even once???

That would require the Class reps to actually have any sort of influence on the dev team, which clearly they don't.

I think you're under the misguided perception that class reps have any power to affect change whatsoever.

Wouldn't even matter if they did. Biggest example is the most recent patch they released which introduced so many changes most of the community are against. They don't listen to these reps and they certainly don't listen to the community.

The term class rep is misleading. There are no reps associated to a certain class. Some reps main certain classes but they "represent" all classes. That was made pretty clear when the program was announced.

Thats a really old list, hexys definitly isnt class rep anymore, checkmath also definitly isnt a class rep anymore after leaking patch notes.

We used to have a sorc class rep that... played a Templar.

Just so you know how much knowledge and care was poured at us.

In fact, out of our dozens pages long Class Mechanics official Sorc Thread, not a SINGLE suggestion or bug fix has EVER been implemented. Ever.

Having a class rep that mains sorc isn't going to prevent them being nerfed. Class reps are not in charge of balance changes they just give feedback. They can't stop ZOS doing anything.

my shields are bigger and dps is higher

btw entropy is best mag ST dot so you gonna slot it anyway

critical surge heals for bigger numbers so it is a buff again

Did he not once raise an objection???

It is Alcast and I believe he was not happy with a lot of the changes because most of his build is now skills outside of the sorc tree and he wasn't happy about that.(Don't quote me but if I remember one of his videos a few weeks back he seemed to be pretty negative on a lot of the changes.)

For an Elder Scroll game, conjugation in this game looks like it was done designed by script kiddies who thought they were clever putting together half ass assets to cut pay.

Active abilities don't even have animations, just particle effects, only passive attacks do they move limbs. With the exception of the Warden's bear but that animation is recycled from mobs and even a monster helmet.

Tormentor does less single target damage than that of the Familiar's AOE DoT. The familiar also has a passive DoT, a stun, and no restrictions to when the active is usable. That itself shows the Tormentor's poor design.

Asside from the ugly models.

Then we have the surge nerf, a 3s CD for a 2550 (base) heal is only 850 HPS and ONLY if you have 100% critical chance. Otherwise you lose a third of your net healing per second and it's not improved by max magic or spell damage. Another idiotic design.

If you turn on skills advisor, Eldericht Mender will tell you to slot Dark Deal instead of Dark Conversion. This makes me question if ZoS really plays their game or is even competent enough to fix anything.

There is absolutely a class rep who loves sorc with all her heart. I've got no reason to dump you in her lap to yell about things beyond her control though.

Instead, list constructive criticism about out what changes you didn't like. Maybe discuss the pain points if the class and where it is not fun to play in detail. She'll see that and can pass that along.
