That way everyone can have a look on them and Zenimax will be obliged to fix them.

Wait... is that what we've been doing wrong this whole time?

TBH, this isn't the only serious performance issue. As you can read on the forums, your customer's patience is wearing thin.

Speak for yourself. Some of us aren't having hissy fits over this.

I would say the "patience not wearing thin" group is the minority these days. This ISNT just pvp. This ISNT just trade. (And those two groups themselves are huge). Heck, just look at EU in general. There's a whollle bunch of people being affected, and calling it a hissy fit (as some have put it, not waving) isn't terribly helpful to those who would like communication and fixes.

I have always had performance issues when playing any video game. Annoying yes, but I have developed somewhat of a tolerance for these issues. I expect it. I also do not blame Zos for every issue I have when I play ESO-- because I know it's not their fault when every electronic device in the house starts lagging at the same time. (My first thoughts are to my ISP). If ZoS is trying to solve a problem they have encountered in their game, and took the time to communicate this information to us, it's fine with me. I seriously doubt there is any intentional conspiracy (or deception) behind the initial communication. What for? If the company wants to deceive its players regarding known performance issues, why post anything at all?

I never expect problems with performance on any game to go away completely. Even if I were the only player on the server, and everything were running smoothly---somewhere down the pike, something is going to interfere with my end product performance. Like the power will go out or something. I've learned to deal with it. It doesn't mean I like it. So, thank you ZoS for attempting to improve performance on your end. I just hope the data reaches me in one piece. And before you ask, no I do not live in a cave or on the moon.

So when are we getting our add-on functionality back? Y'know, the functionality we had for over 4 years

You can't blame *** on the addons for this crap performance when console is just as bad if not worse

    0/10 for logic.

Addons can adversely affect performance, and make an already problematic situation worse. They can also make it harder to determine the causes (note the use of the plural) by simply adding another one to the mix. But being a problem is not the same as being the only problem.

Perhaps YOU are the problem on consoles?

Unnecessary because I dont offended anyone.

Both PC and Console have the same performance problems, so addons arent a issue. Adding that as an excuse to performance is nonsense.
I truly believe game engine its the main problem and is nowhere to be fixed.

Not necessarily true. The PC addons serve to highlight the problem, which exists on all platforms.

Maybe having some of the features in the addons would reduce the load of the addons. Make it part of the game if it is so popular!

And therefore open it to those of us on consoles.

Just great. One day after I've sold golden fury rings because I said to myself "well there will be midyear soon" they're doing this...

They could atleast add golden jewelery we have during midyear mayhem from golden vendor as compensation.

It would only make the server load worse, since right now not every player uses these addons, therefore not everybody is causing extra load.

ZoS. How about making all the names in guild finder application lists actually expire. Along with all the other optimisations many that were so obvious for all these years. Seeing names hit 0:00 in the guild application list and the timer meaning nothing at all. No surprise at all everything crashed when it did at the time all guilds hit that 15 day expiry time. Applications are still acceptable after the timer runs out. That and the unknown amount of names on lists beyond it showing 10 names across every guild in the game. A full account relog is required to refresh making many think all applications were cleared. We ended up getting 150 ish applications in under 72 hours. I am truly glad things were left until breaking point because the seriousness of needing to fix this game is now starting to sound like its being done finally. And feels quite disgraceful that even small game companies optimise those things when they are made and further fixes are made ASAP once they emerge. As much as i would love to PvP. I can't with a PC that can run 4k most games at 60FPS max settings. I get about 30 to 40 fps standing still in a city. That has prevented me from combat entirely for very close to 6 months. No ESO+ for months and seems like it will be many more. No Elsweyr bought. A frame stutter from even the tiniest things like hitting R to craft at any crafting station. People blaming add ons and indirectly the add on authors that truly make this game have a higher population and far superior experience then not having them are sounding quite un fair since the optimisations of how they work are zos made and controlled. I in recent weeks demoted myself from GM because because i can not even play the game at its performance level. Also Akamai is causing 100+ Wrathstone lag still to this day for sooo many. I don't have that and even with the best connection and hardware. All the trial and PvP type performance at the best of times is still below fun and functioning the same outside of those places. To the point that i cant enjoy this game that has far to many issues. From the people that have mentioned their ping increase are basically non to little playing time now with those suffering from it. Reading over my last support ticket. I can describe it all in 1 word, "Disgusting". I am quite sure even anyone at ZoS reading over it will think the same kind of word or words. I am one of the players that is a die hard Elder Scrolls game player and performance issues kicked me from the game a good year a go. starting around the time of the crafting stations bug and needing to stay online day and night to keep the stations working for the guild for many months. ill leave out the very close to 100 serious other things like that. I can't play eso because of [insert all the bugs and performance issues here]. And i can not play Skyrim due to not wanting to lose yet another save file going corrupt due to bugs. Over 1 year of /played time in eso. The real tease is not knowing what kind of performance improvements we will get as it seems to be stated in the wording of not having the midyear mayhem event. Will there be a time that the most expensive and powerful gaming PC currently available will not drop below 30 FPS at a keep battle? better yet. Being a fairly competitive player from games that require fast reactions and actually have difficulty. Can i fight at a keep instead of horse racing simulator for multiple hours until the fight has been finished and not even get playable combat. Or will my skills fire the same in a trial as they do on a dummy. If so, tag me pls anyone so i can return to eso. I wont sit around waiting in hope of it maybe being something i would consider in the category of "playable".

One thing I wish you guys at ZOS would address - the 'stuck in combat' issue in PVP. If there's one thing that aggravates me the most it's being stuck in combat sometimes for up to 20 minutes at a time. It's pretty sad when you have to let someone kill you or commit suicide to get out of the damned thing. I would think you folks could fix this without adversly affecting game performance.

Rich actually mentionned performance quite a few times in this recent interview I've read today:

    https://wccftech.com/elder-scrolls-online-e3-2019-interview-focusing-on-performance-improvements-team-is-aware-crossplay-is-what-players-want/

We can only hope that the performance improvements will be significant enough to be worthwhile, as it seems ZOS will postpone some changes until they get the architecture-level optimizations done. By worthwhile I mean something more visible than whatever "improvement" removing the deers or making resource towers undestrictuble brought...

I’ll give the mods some undeserved benifit of the doubt and say they must’ve unpinned this by accident. Of course they wouldn’t try to let it get lost in the posts, since it is absolutely still relevant with how terribly that game is still functioning

So back from hols after 2 weeks and I still cant see individual or total guild sales and not a word from Zos

I'm guessing now they are just going to leave it like this and move on to something else.

    Meanwhile trade guilds stay stiffed.

    Or am I wrong?

Longer term, we’re working on changing the guild history to be more effectively queried by data being pushed to the client instead of allowing add-ons to poll the data on a whim. This work is being done now, and should be ready for testing with U23 PTS. (which is only a few weeks away!)

Did I miss it in the patch notes?
