Provided that the DOT functionality w/ cloak will remain in a permanently unbalanced state, the only thing that can be done is that the cloak provides an untargettable "fade-time" so it's much less jarring to deal with. The fade time should last as long as the 100% dodge window does.
Interesting that they are the only class whom against we need to slot specific otherwise not good skills to have a chance to counter their invisiblity. Also cloaking is a very cheap mechanic to steal in PVE, other classes need to stack potions or be good at hide/maneuvering.

It used to purge, if anyone remembers.

Good idea! Let’s bring that back. Suppressing dots is OP, we should have a cleanse instead to remove them entirely. That’s obviously the more balance idea. Better yet make it a hot aoe heal that snares and does damage in aoe.... oh wait.
What do you expect a cougar to do, run growling and leaping through the forest fang and clawless?
The NB needs to get in and get its prey finished fast as its in no where near capable of resetting the fight as prey do.

I'm not a developer..
I just remember when cloak was useless. Then it purged, then that was OP then. Now it surpresses dots.
There's a cycle there..
