Nice changes, I'm mostly fine with them.
I still think this would be massively improved by adding morphs to racials. These are a fantastic baseline to start from, but if ZOS want us to embrace the "any race / any playstyle" mantra, then morphs would be a great way to achieve that.

All this does is address power creep. Less resource pools and recovery for dps. No reason to play dark elf over altmer.

I hate any changes to classes, skills and races. I'm tired of getting used to this damned game again and again. What a crap...

My Bosmer mages had racials that tried to force them to be stam characters. Nothing is changing in that regard. Okay, they can block better than other mages and they are cute as a button. *disappointed panda*

Good changes for the way ZOS balances the game (making specific races shine in specific scenarios, so everything has a niche). Only the changes to Dunmer are bad.
I used to think that PvP was a tragedy, but now I realize, it's a comedy.

This nerfing is basically a bad idea. I`ve seen it already 10 years ago with WoW.

And these are the main reasons why:

You can work with percentages but not with fixed numbers. Which means it punishes those people who put an effort into building and optimizing their characters. Unfortunately thats the very same people who put effort into organizing group activities. Which means you end up with fewer raid groups available for those guys who are too lazy to optimize their builds. Which makes all your beautiful raid dungeons pointless. The casual players you are favoring never get these 12 player groups organized.

Also the tolerance towards players with non optimal characters will DROP. Right now two seasoned players can drag two poor players through a normal group dungeon easily. With your nerfing you`ll end that. There will be no more tolerance towards noobs and that will reduce group activities.

Eh... I would prefer % stats overall. On the long term it sounds like its all nerfed.

The xpgain on skilllines look good at first sight, but also on long term it doesn't matter at all.

Some things just seem so out of touch. Dumner changes for instance. Does ZOS not realize that the only reason people chose Dumner over Altmer was for the extra fire damage? Even then there was a decision to be made, because you would lose some recovery. Now they took the choice out of the equation. This doesn’t seem like rocket science.

Not that the changed the principal on why people wanted racial passives adjusted, they just basically shifted the meta which is quite fun and refreshing

Guess we’ll have more viable options for PvE, and PvP may see the birth of more hybrid playstyles. Khajit is very strong now, but they could have done better with the nord.

I see, however, very strong S/B DK nord builds in PvP coming up.

I’ll most likely change my main to an orc.

Make it a choice system. A tiered, choice system.

Tier 1: pick either max Stam, Mag, Health, or a combination of the 2 or 3 (obviously dividends taken into account)

Tier 2: when you do damage, you get back x amount of x resource

Tier 3: you have x amount of resistance against x type of damage, and do x amount more of x type of damage.

Then we have balance, as everyone has the same choices. The Elder Scrolls series is based on you making your character, the way you want the character.

Khajiit using thief mundus with mother’s sorrow and sororia could be viable magicka dps. Probably around 70% crit. Or use apprentice for spell damage and 60%+ crit. Could be interesting. Better than Dunmer, thats for sure. Lol

Dunmer arguably got the worst shaft with this. Trying to push a race into a hybrid role when hybrids are completely unviable in this game is nothing but abuse. "Freedom to play as you like" then make altmers leagues above anyone else for all mag dps. Wtf??
Yep. At least there is some choice with current system “more fire damage, but lose recovery, or more recovery with a little less damage?” Now there would be no choice.

ZOS are trying to get rid of "meta-races for meta-builds" gameplay. The changes and the goals are good. Not sure if current numbers and maths are okay though, but however I like the course they choose.

There will always be a Meta, as long *** there are plyers playing the game and try to do it the most efficient way.

You cannot remove a Meta, only change it.

new meta will probably mee Altmer for all Mag DPS, so they only shifted from Dunmer and altmer to Altmer and maybe breton.

    Tank meta is still argonian.

Healer meta may be breton now, but not so into healing so we'll see.

I don't care about the details of the changes. I just don't like rebalancing without giving players an ability to adjust for free. A single race change token for 15 characters is silly.

And it isn't like they haven't done this nonsense before. Without a guarantee this won't happen again, I am not a fan. Give us all a window to change all characters without paying them money. It is not okay to use rebalancing to make money.

Tough decision whether to delete some characters or stick with their builds. All that horse training, bag expansion (which is one of the most expensive things in-game), and wasted inspiration/research is tough to swallow.

I am crying a little for my Dunmer DK alt, the most likely atm to get the race change token.

I'm going to have to do a pass on my resources on some characters, others are probably stronger now.

So classes that deal a lot of magic damage will get a buff to those skills, due to flat increase in spell damage, and where magic damage was not previoulsy buffed (only fire, shock, and ice). (Templar comes to mind.). However, all magicka-based dps will see a sizeable decrease to magicka pool. If you were an altmer and had a base magicka pool of 35000, you will lose 1500 max magicka. If it was 40k, you will lose 2k, if my math is right.
