make CP character bound

Well this is a reversal of the usual requests - people have been asking for things like sky shards, horse training and motif knowledge to be account wide for ever.

Some of us still playing remember grinding individual characters through the ranks to VR16 before CP took over and would never wish a return to those days on anyone.

And whoever suggested the character bound gear drops - wash you mouth out with soap!!!!
I have 20 characters across 2 accounts and the gear farm is already a grind.

well this I would not name handicapp everyone but balance them to every new character and player with it going with this meaning for many other casuals and RP's

casuals or not...this idea was from few posts I have seen where other people was saying about this as this should be in game and we should thank to everyone this isnt with collectibles and costumes etc

I have 15 characters all max level. I would delete all but one or two if they made CP character bound and I had to grind it on all of them.

You are barking up the wrong tree with me. I am all for increasing things that are account wide. I would start with achievements, followed by, AP, Skyshards, and guild lines. I think the best way to implement these would be with toggles, so that if people didn't want things account wide they wouldnt have to. If I have to do that psijic quest one more time, I might lose my $h!t. Haha

well hahah, if you could see thread with askyshardsa account bound and mine thread before for acheivements account share
for evey idea was option with toggle etc to not break immersion of RP's but guess what
I got lynched from 90% of people defending it to stay character bound and as I wrote before few times...I have up with my opinions and suggest for some things to be account shared with toggable option

EDIT: and this thread was mianly troll after get "explosion" of feeling how I feel underpower to everyone defending every small nonsense as its good as it is while I was like your opinion with account shared things but ehh...I jsut have no more power to stay with it as RP's thinking is much louder than suggestions with good and reasonable argument which could reall improve QoL many players

Toggle is key. Give people the choice. Also, if anyone at ZOS is listening, my playtime triples the second we have account wide achieves. I would actually care about my achievement points if the significant ones weren’t spread across half a dozen toons.

I know toggle is key, in every thread about something with suggestion to be account shared there was also wrote option with toggle for this

LOL, wow. I thought I'd seen the worst of all ideas ever on another forum when someone suggested that said gaming company implement some form of real ID to "eliminate toxicity." Even knowing the IRL perils of doxxing, etc., I still think this is almost worse. Not sure though. It's definitely a solid contender for the Worst Ideas in All of Gaming award.

Editing to add: I'm at CP 512. I'll never hit 810 or 830 or whatever it is now on my entire account. Per toon? No way. I'd quit the second that change was announced.

You had to grind each toon up to lvl 50 and then you weren't done. You also had to grind 16 veteran ranks. Which were the equivalent of 5-10 levels.

Account wide CP was supposed to be the solution to that.

It’s a bad idea. Nothing justifies cp NOT being account bound. It’s bad enough you have to train your horse, much less lore books and undaunted. It’s just a silly idea.

The worst part about the idea of making CP character bound is that the CP cap isn't static, it increases every three months. If I had to grind CP individually on each character, not only would I never create another new character I would likely delete half or more of the characters I currently have because I literally do not have the time let alone the inclination to keep that many characters on a perpetual level treadmill.
