Guessing we will have more info the 15th, but yes frustrating to say the least...
I haven't been following the news on ESO lately, what is this combat update they're talking about?

Thanks for the update! It's good to know there is something in the works
Do you have an idea of the general timeframe it will be for the plan to be fully implemented?
No ETA?
Seriously though, don't want to commit to anything until everything is at least down on paper. Anywhere from a few weeks to the beginning of next year?
No eta while on PS4 all or your crag trails are boderline unplayable and your dlc are just a hot mess. I didn't know we were still in beta
No, not in Beta - you are on a gaming system that was more an afterthought. Consoles have never had the full compatibility and performance that PC has had in this game.
The UI was an after thought but if you think PC x86 and console x86 is different, well that's on you. I don't think the compilers are that different either. Also don't think consoles as the majority of the population is an after thought.
And yet the complaints from console have been going on since day ONE and have only gotten worse - so that's not on me, I know more about it than you may think.
It's much, much more than just the UI - if it were just the UI no one would be bitching incessantly about performance issues. Performance issues that I do NOT have on PC.

My biggest issue with the stream was how they kept saying "We can only do this because of you guys! This is for the community!" but yet they barely even communicate with us.
It came across as empty words.
If we the community mean that much to you, then talk to us. Enough with this silence.

You're not her boss. YOU don't even work at Bethesda.
She admitted herself that they hadn't been communicating as well as they should have been on the issues currently facing trials. Those were her words, not mine. I was simply following up with her statement to see if they are developing a plan to prevent similar situations from repeating in the future
While I'm not her boss, her job is to communicate with the community...so...ya know.

But I do agree, community managers SHOULD talk more in the forums and SHOULD reply on most bug reports that provided some data.

@ZOS_GinaBruno is there any update on this?

And performance issues I DO NOT HAVE on XB OneX with an SSD. Seriously, my load times are generally 20-30 seconds (not as fast as I can get when playing on PC, but not much longer). Plus, the unplayability and incessant crashing I experienced before getting an SSD (like Hew's Bane looking like a blurry, muddy mess and crashing 5 seconds after riding through the front gate) is virtually non-existent.
Now, I don't do trials or PvP, so I can't speak to those, and I don't queue for random dungeons. I did do the Undaunted event with my spouse this past fall, and we had no problems porting into a dungeon and playing it.
During the New Life Festival (and shortly before that during the Free Play days), my load times spiked to over a minute. That was due to server load, but the game still ran fine for me.

@ZOS_GinaBruno is this still going to happen? There hasn't been an update ever since the original post.

That quote was from November and there has not been an update since then.

I just don't understand why Gina and Jessica aren't more involved in the forums. They are the Community Managers after all. If, for some incredibly unlikely reason, communicating with the community is not a part of their job description, then they need to hire someone who does just that.

Given how they've posted in the past I just get the feeling they'd like to say and interact more but the upper echelons have decided on a policy which from the player base perspective sucks.
We've seen posts in the past where they've chased down developers to clarify stuff and brought the clarifications back to us which I consider good communications. I just don't think they are allowed to do that any more or if they are its within tight constraints.
Sad.

what a very odd and seemingly random question. If the servers are not up, you cannot login to them and therefore you cannot play the game. (although if it comes to that they should just give us the ability to setup our own servers) But yes, if the game shuts down you will no longer be able to play.
