PVP is also restricted due to ping. Weekends during my daytime I can do VMA, but if the shield cap goes live I won't be going into VMA either. Which pretty much just leaves dailies, writs and new quests...

Playing this game was started as a way to relax and have fun in my downtime and was so much fun. Now it is just way to stressful and has propagated elite squads for doing trials that demand you have x amount of dps or you don't get to run with them. PUG groups are nightmare so I understand why that is. With this latest nerf to sorcs it will most likely drive me away. They nerfed dps so badly over the last 2 years but at least you could effective sheild yourself to stay alive in PvP. Now they are hindering even that. I've seen posts by people who say "oh that can be gotten around by doing this or that"..I don't want harder, I want to relax and enjoy. Guess if I can't hang I will have to go play Mindcraft or some other baby game
They did that exact same thing with Morrowind ... released an incredible DLC, but it ended up getting a lot of bad press because they also released a patch at the same time that had gigantic nerfs for everything. It made people bad-mouth Morrowind, when the DLC itself was great. I would have thought they would have learned from that, but apparently not.bottleofsyrup wrote: »Shame that what would would otherwise be a cool DLC is marred by an abysmal patch.

Way too many negative Nancy players here on the forums who are afraid of change and lack the skills to adapt.
Curious to see the new changes to scattershot especially with that new bow.
Overall can hardly wait!
Stam player confirmed.
Unless you want to use your skill at adapting to propose a viable alternative method of survival for light armor classes?
Face-tanking with shield stacking is gone (which isn't necessarily a bad thing in isolation) but avoidance is not possible as stam classes all have access to very strong snares and light armor classes have zero access to snare removal and the final method of survival, healing is also taking significant nerfs this patch. So you can't kite, you cant block enough damage with shields and you can't out-heal damage either.
As things stand, stam vs light armor mag engagements are 100% a dps race as all methods of damage mitigation have gone out the window. That doesn't make for fun PvP, we might as well just do parses on test dummies and hand out AP & battlemasters reward boxes to whoever gets the highest dps values.
