    Global snare nerf, gameplay will be more fast paced yay :)

    Ive leaned stam for a while to where the nerf really wont change much. Its one of those things where its trivial if you have immunity, and terrible gameplay if you dont. What they need is magicka characters more of a chance to get immunity. I think they assume efficient purge will knock 2 seconds off if you apply it immediately and it happens to not purge it off entirely. In reality, you wont get it off immediately so it might cut it down a second. Even if its removed though; it will get applied right back without immunity.

    I think what they need to do is leave the abilities that grant immunity, but then add recourse timers similar to CC breaking.

    Overall pretty good changes, really happy about the reduced the snare and befoul durations.

    I understand most people feel the balance changes are not enough but I like the approach of making small changes. When you make big changes in a complex system the results are hard to predict, so instead of achieving balance you risk creating more imbalance (exactly what happened in the past).

    Some new sets seem interesting, cant wait to test them.

    @ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_JesC It seems the ceiling of Aldmeri Grotto house has been reverted back to the glitched ceiling we had in the beginning of Summerset PTS. Please fix these issues, once again, before going Live....I do not want to have paid so much in real life money for a house that has a complete grotto (Goonies) type feel now and to only log into game once this DLC goes live and find the ceilings are glitched again.

    a small group of people here on this forum are under the illusion that everyone else is Trash and Bad and weak and Stupid.
    but the reality is we are all just normal people playing a game and deserve the right to join in on the fun and fight in cryodiil without seeing 1 guy take on 30 people and kill all of them.
    those builds are overpowered and should not be able to do mass damage and at the same time survive being attacked by a group of people.
    THAT is what is destroying eso and making people Quit and leave for a game that is fun for ALL not just a few!
    Thank you for supplying us with yet another fresh, top of the line meme. Just perfect. Mind telling us the secret behind these 'overpowered builds'? I'm sure many would be grateful to hear.

    Monsters
    Bloodfiends that could previously be targeted by the Blade of Woe are no longer subject to its powers. The Blade of Woe is no longer available against all bloodfiends, instead of sometimes working and sometimes not.

    I am still able to use BoW against blood fiends in Lispand Tarn.

    Keep Recall Stones
    While not a horrible idea, I don’t believe it’s something that’s needed and in fact, the truth is that with add-ons informing players when keeps are under attack (before they are ever flagged), we already have problems with the more beleaguered factions being able to effectively take a keep before reinforcements arrive. It’s already easy enough to get to keeps on the map without having recall stones make it even easier. This looks like something you thought might help AD and DC counter EP, but the problem is that it’s going to help EP get their massive numbers to keeps even faster.

    Respec Updates
    An excellent change many have been asking for – very glad to see this

    Welkynar Motif
    Just… no. The drop rate is ridiculous. If you’re going to go the “fragment” RNG route again (as you did with the glass motif), then the fragments should drop on even normal +0 mode. I would suggest something like the following:

    Normal +0 = 1 fragment | Normal +1 = 2 fragments | Normal +2 = 4 fragments | Normal +3 = 5 fragments
    Vet +0 = 5 fragments | Vet +1 = 6 fragments | Vet +2 = 8 fragments | Vet +3 = 10 fragments

    Jewelry Crafting Master Writs
    While I appreciate you adjusting the reward for these, I’m not at all happy you’re not finding some way to retroactively fix the ones currently in the game. Even if it was just to offer some sort of temporary NPC who was around for two weeks or so where people could “turn in” old jewelry master writs to receive a new one of the same value (ie, Epic, Legendary). I’ve got multiple writs that are worthless because of this oversight when jewelry crafting was added, with no chance of them ever being worth doing.

    Snare and Defile Duration Reduction
    This is a horrible change for PvP. Already, we have issues with being able to adequately slow/snare/stun the ball zerg groups and those who run swift rings/speed+immovable pots, etc. This is just going to exacerbate the problem.

    Given how broken cc break and cc immunity are in PvP already, reducing the duration will also do nothing to assuage the perma-stun issues that exist when a person gets hit with layered cc effects. In short, this change does nothing to help in any way, and will actively make things more difficult.

    A visual effect will now appear over your character’s head when using Detection Potions, Magelight, or Expert Hunter to notify other players of your ability to see sneaking/invisible enemies.
    Why? It’s already far too easy for players using invisibility pots to escape detection. Why on earth would you want to make it even easier?

    Changes to keeps and resources
    These are horrible changes, particular for AD, who already struggles with near-constant resource taking in the backfield. As the faction who is double-teamed the most, who also has the easiest terrain to maneuver through and around (thereby making it easier to be in its territory versus the more mountainous and treacherous territories of EP and DC), and who also has two towns in its backfield (something that desperately needs fixing. It’s unbalanced for AD to be the one faction with two towns that can function as rez points in its backfield. Please either find different towns to be the capture points, or eliminate towns as capture/rez points altogether), these changes will further hinder AD’s ability to protect its territory.

    Changes to siege damage in CP campaigns
    Please for the love of gods, no. The siege damage is plenty strong enough as-is in CP campaigns, it doesn’t need another boost, particularly since many of the AOEs are lingering and can stack.

    Sload’s Semblance
    The proposed changes will do nothing to stop the actual issue of Sload’s, which is that it stacks. It is not the single player running Sload’s that is the problem. It’s the groups of 4+ running it, and getting multiple stacks of the proc. That is what is killing people. In a more broad sense, it’s also the issue with all proc sets being overpowered right now (as @Alcast has pointed out).

    They made some nice adjustments for the assistants, but they missed the important one...

    Make. Assistants. Despawn. After (#) seconds of non-use! If you haven't talked to your assistant for ~15 seconds, they should leave automatically. I'm so tired of politely asking people to stow their merchants and bankers in dungeons and trials.

    Most people don't use their common sense or courtesy to put away their assistants, so I was really hoping ZOS would implement some sort of "fix" for this someday. Guess not today.

    PSA: Please stow your merchant/banker when you're done with them!

    The only exception is if you're a double pet sorc with Maw of the Infernal or Shadowrend. Then, hell, it's just one more body in your army, and I'll allow it. ;P

    From the patch notes, it doesn't sound like it is being suppressed by cloak, it's just no longer removing a player from cloak. Sounds like the damage should still be ticking on the player in cloak.

    Impressions:

    Excited for the DLC's and the new sets.

    Confused as to the inexplicable changes to some of the existing equipment sets.

    Concerned about the changes to werewolf, and more than a little pissed that most of the changes are in direct opposition the feedback compiled by the class reps. This was not a good move, Zenimax.
    While I do like a lot of the stuff I'm seeing, as a Werewolf roleplayer the Hircine Glade house sticks in the craw. People like me have been asking for a rework to the base WW for a long while to allow us to stay in the form without fussing about ultimate, and now you've given us this ability... In a single house that is probably going to be time gated and is probably going to cost a boatload of crowns (I easily see it being in the price range of the Dawnlight and Grotto) so you've stuck this ability behind a TWO pay walls: the price of the DLC and the price of the house.

    This little boon should not be exclusive to the house, it should be something WW players are able to do anywhere to show off what they are. Make it a polymorph, not this.

    Personally, I'd love to see the werewolf shrine furnishing items made functional.

    I pointed that out much earlier in this thread along with another bug for that house and many other bugs with other things. It is ridiculous that this was a problem on 4.0.0 PTS, fixed before launch and back again so very soon.
    I'm very disappointed in the lack of planning of patch data that could have avoided this.

    If your definition of fun is to put on sload bs and zerg ppl down using light attacks, I almost feel bad for you. And I hope these mean solo players stomp you and your zergbois as frequent as possible. Just for fun, ofc

    So I dread the changes to the Traitors vault after it receives its nerf. Why is the number of lootables a problem ? We find farming housing related stuff to keep the housing community happy and keep the prices from being unreasonably high. Don't take that from housing people, that's the only group of folks that will be affected by this adjustment.

    Now with the changes to fishing nodes and them being labeled, this essentially makes Histmere Fisheye Rye worthless.... How many folks use this for anything other than identifying fishing holes? So my suggestion is that with the new Arteaum recipe- increased chance of rare fish ( don't adjust it) , that the Histmere increases the visibility of fishing holes WHILE increasing the rate of basic white ( perfect roe ) fish. But for Pete's as sake dont nerf the drop rate of perfect roe either.

    Haven't tested it, but i'm pretty sure Sloads will just get surpressed like other DoTs, because making Cloak not break on dmg would require a complete rework of the skill and many other skills and i doubt that's what happened.

    I think that is why cloak suppresses DOTs to begin with. They couldnt get it to work while the NB takes damage back at launch when NB was completely broken and didnt work

    In theory it should be quite easy to implement cloak breaking from everything but DOT damage (not counting the initial hit). But ofc I don't know their code and how they implemented damage classes.
