Keymapping takes place client side, so no, it has zero effect on ping or lag.does remaping my keys on a keyboard cause lagg or high ping to happen?
i been wondering this for years and wonder if it is causeing all the problems with pvp lagg and high ping cause everyone remapped keys and also spaming animation canceling.

Oh. My. God.
You don’t need an MMO mouse or macros to weave.

The whole LA weave is a big reason why I don't typically role as DPS on harder content. I just can't do it consistently, and there is some conscious rebellion against doing it. I, personally, think its BS that the devs have embraced this "hidden" mechanic and yet do virtually nothing to teach a player how to do it, yet it is an expected skill (usually) for any veteran end-game content due to how much of a boost it provides to DPS roles. ZOS either needs to do a better job bringing attention and opportunities to practice in their game or find other avenues to help those who either don't want or can't do LA weaving.

I hate those stupid things. They're clunky and awkward. I gave the one I had away.
I just bind everything to keyboard.

Also visually on-screen what I see when I can do it really throws me off. If I look away I can do it better but I die almost always. I don't know what it is about it in this game but it's was always an issue for me and still remains one.
I've been practicing for 4 weeks straight since I came back on top of the 1000 or more I mentioned from 2017/2018 and it's insane but the DPS is worse according to combat metrics for me when I attempt to "weave" I lose a lot more than just playing normally. BTW I am not the OP of this thread.

Make sure you’re cancelling the light attack and not the ability. I’ve talked with some people who had this backwards. You want to light attack and press the ability right after.

I am sometimes. It's easy to get it mixed up though. I think it's just something I can't do well. I've watched recent videos people made on this and I a lot of it is doing it long term but also reliably, at least for me.

This sounds like you're going too fast. The trick is to slow down. Try this: don't worry about numbers to start with, just learn the rhythm - - hit light attack, wait for it to impact, then skill, wait for impact, repeat - - gradually get faster, or reduce speed until you find your sweet spot where you can comfortably hit the buttons sequentially in the smallest window. This will differ per person, per setup, so it will take some time. Start off just on one bar, no swapping, with just 1 or 2 skills. Once you can do that, extend to partial rotation without swapping until youre happy with it, then add in a bar swap and parse a full rotation. Again, not worrying about numbers, repeat that full rotation, have a breather in between until you have it down pat, then parse... Just parse. Slot your skills in the order you will execute them for smaller hand movements.
This is a lot harder on console due to input lag, anyone making the leap to pc should view their time on console as dragon ball z style gravity training...

Agreed.
And actually, standing still in front of a target, I find it much easier to weave LA (LMB) with skills (1-5 on keyboard). However, an MMO mouse does, for me, make doing other things much easier. Namely, moving while doing a rotation. So like a lot of people, I bind 1-5 to my MMO mouse so that my left hand is primarily concerned with movement-related keys.
Hi,
first of all, this is not a cry-post, I´m being sincere here.
Here is my problem: I cant light attack weave, no matter how much I practice. The combination of mouseclick and keyboardpress just isnt doable for me (I dont know, maybe my brain doesnt work in that manner).
Up until now I could play Stamina-DPS very well, because of Heavy Attackweaving. Unfortunately, since the patch, no matter how hard I try, I cant get past 25k.
So, my question is. Is there something I can do? Like use a specific class, or a specific itemset to get my dps back?
Thanks in advance.
