graphic stutter on PC EU after the Summerset launch

Never had that before, not even when Morrowind came out, and now I get stutter wherever I am in the world, not just the new zone. Game gets frequent freezes for a second or two, so frequent it's annoying and hardly comfortable to play. Anyone else get that?
My video card is dual 2047MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680M (Dell) (laptop is Alienware M18xR2 with latest Windows 10 update) and they gave me no problems with eso on highest settings ever before. This is the first time I get stuttering in this game regardless of the map I'm on.
The driver's up to date.

Yeah, I have it, occasional stutter but only for a fraction of a second. Not enough to bother me, might be server load because of the xpack? Sever other group members had it in a dungeon. Hopefully it´ll sort itself out.

Surely been there but never had that problem as in the video. It was all fine. All fine until this Summerset tonight. It's like the quantity of players has doubled since Morrowind and all are online right now? Shame.

I never had freezes until this day Now it happens randomly, it's very annoying.

Check your VRAM usage mine HD 7870 XT (2GB) is hiting brick wall with 100% VRAM usage even on 900p. This might cause tearing as GPU needs to dump and reload textures.

I guess its time to upgrade..

I'm experiencing the freeze/stutter as well. Mostly in towns it seems. This was not an issue for me prior to the Summerset patch.

"Good" to see others having the same issue. Large groups of players (city's ?) are where this is the worst it seems. No problem what so ever prior Patch.

I did check the PTS server to see if I experience the same issues. This is not the case

See how it runs when the dust has settled after a day or two. First day of a major launch is never a good time to judge performance, every player is online and the developers haven't had time yet to optimise the coding in ways that often happen when a major new addition is made.

Only thing that worries me is I was getting this stutter bad yesterday on the PTS.
I ran a diagnostic on my PC because it seemed so odd all of of sudden.

Well this morning all was fine. After the patch this problem arrises, that tells me i has to do something with the patch. Just hope this gets picked up by support.

So lots of people that previously didn't have a problem (myself included) have suddenly started experiencing this with the release of the expansion - shouldnt't this have been moved to Bug Reports? PC Tech Support suggests it's something wrong on our end, when we were just fine yesterday.

Not just in towns, galloping through the Summerset countryside triggers it for me. I know it's first day and all but I remember thinking that Summerset has some serious optimisation issues because until today I simply don't get that sort of shudder.

no is no stutter you got multi core support now(sarcasm), they didn't change nothing, after this update i got more stutter, i remove the addons, and was no change!

This might be a strange question: but do you also see the grass "popping in" from a distance. You might not notice it untill you focus on it. But to me it seems that texture loading has changed and is causing issues

I'm experiencing heavy stuttering too. I tried Teleporting into a house and disabling all the addons: no improvements at all.

I've noticed this as well with update 18, but I wasn't sure if I was just imagining it. It appears that "pop in" is more prevalent and I'm noticing this in more populated areas with a lot of assets to render; and that's when the freeze/stutter hits. I haven't spent any time in Summerset, so I can't speak to performance issues that may plague that zone specifically.

Yep, I am getting unplayable, constant stuttering since logging in to the Summerset patch. In all zones. Turning graphics all the way down does nothing. Nvidia 770 GTX. Had no issues before summerset.

I am getting massive stutters and FPS drops when i cast, get on my mount, etc.. I have a gtx 1070 with a very capable computer that never had any issues running the game before.

I've been getting constant frame rate drops, stuttering and random screen freezes. This is happening with all addon's turned off and also with them on (it doesn't make any difference and I already run very few addons).

Prior to the summerset update this never happened to me before.

I'm running a 1080 gtx on an intel i7 6700k (4.0ghz) with 32 gigs of ram as well.

Sadly this didn't happen on the PTS (though the last time I logged into PTS was around four weeks ago). In fact back then on the PTS there was actually an IMPROVEMENT in FPS from live server.

Whatever they did since then has made everything worse.

Although my cards are not that advanced, I had zero problems before Summerset. No matter the day, no matter the zone.
But this time, it's a nightmare of FPS drops.
And I have no add-ons at all.

I have experienced stutters today like never before. I experienced these during the testing but not anywhere near as bad.

I instantly noticed this the first time it happened today and was like "woah I've never seen that happen before."

Since then its happened maybe once or twice an hour completely randomly. Good to see I'm not alone but I do hope they sort this out soon because it's really annoying.

Also using windows 10(most recent update), GTX 1080(397.64 driver), i7- 6700k cpu @ 4.00GHZ, and 32GB RAM.

Usually stuff like this gets fixed in a week or so.

Guys, today (the day after Summerset release) my problem seems completely fixed. This morning I tried to login for a few min and no more stuttering, performance seems back to pre-patch!
I'm wondering if the issued could have been related to the exceptional server load...
We'll see this evening at prime time...

I still get allot of stutters even in PvE.
Sometimes a freeze aswell where my fps drops to 3.

i did get some stutters here and there before but holy *** the screen freezes now are really nasty, like the game puts itself into a pause state

my fps are better in towns tho, but those freezes kind of make the situation worst than before.
