Doing the quest is boring but I'm happy it's more involved.
Edit: more involved than just killing mobs that is.
I just unlocked the line last night and now started doing the first map quest today to close the time rifts and have to say it's pretty blah.
The activity itself seems boring as it's just go here (roughly b/c the maps are not great so you spend a lot of time wondering around) and click E and go to next spot.
Feels like it will take as long and be as annoying as running around to gather mage guild books, if not more so.
Has anyone gotten more of the skill line done? Do the quests change as you go on and they give yo more interesting stuff?

Maybe reduce the portal ammount fot each map from 9 down to 8 or 7 would be good.
Furthermore the markings on the maps can be quite off when compared to the real locations.

Boring af. Possibly the most boring thing I have ever done in the game.

The quest grind might be ok the first time through since you're playing the story, but after that I'll wait for the add-on to run my other characters through. The Psijiic Skill Line should have worked more like the Mages guild line. You do some quests and close some random time rifts to level it up.

Oh PC getting another add-on crutch?! Yes!
Us console players will just have to settle for being significantly better players. Enjoy your doodads and little gizmos, though. I’ll be over here playing a video game.
No option of even including a console beta, as if that communitiy is meaningless. But yet, every record held on PC is matched, and subsequently beaten, WITHOUT ADD ONS.
PC is breaking this game, slowly and surely. Every new game device, like this. ZOS knows very well someone with way too much time on their hands will make an add-on for it. So they can come up with poor, cumbersome elements to the game, and you guys stick your nerdy bandaids overs it marking their boo boo go away. And naturally, the whole community suffers.
Class act, guys. Please, go enjoy your handicapable Tamriel.
Band Camp statements: To state "But this one time I saw X doing X... so that justifies X" Refers to the Band camp statement.

The worst way to level up a skill line like woah I'm doing it right now and man it's so boring to the point I'm actually yawning while doing it.
I get the rift theme needed to be maintained for the skill line but there must've been a better way to level it other than running around all over the place.
I feel like I'm playing Runescapes' One small favor quest all over again.

Iliac Bay is in DC territory. It separates the south coast of High Rock from the north coast of Hammerfell - the map shows Glenumbra, Stormhaven & Alik'r
I do admit it is confusing if you're not familiar with ES lore.
