Please hurry before I start dusting and washing windows!

Back when I played Guild Wars (1) there was a maintenance that followed with a game issue where runes were either 1 gold or bottom price, when there were a few that sold for far far higher. Players caught on to this immediately and began buying huge amounts of the normally high priced runes. Arenanet caught on and took the servers offline. At the time they didn't have a process in place to deal with this, they would have to do a major rollback and the database wasn't up to what they needed. The game was offline for 24 hrs give or take and when it came back up there was the big rollback and some bannings of a few.
Some times things have to get done, no matter how painful it is. The issues with the servers have to be resolved, short cuts will only prolong the matter.

You could try vacuuming the cat.
Thats always good for a laugh, once you get the bleeding stopped.

The amount of maintenance downtime recently is starting to get really annoying.
My hope is that as they were proceeding with the maint they either found something that was problematic in addition to whatever they originally were dealing with and are trying to get it sorted OR they are testing the bejabbers out of it to try to avoid further problems and major riots over the weekend.
Or, after the week so far, they all fell asleep.
Maintenance for the week of April 9:
• [COMPLETE] PC/Mac: North American and European megaservers for maintenance – April 12, 3:00AM EDT (7:00 UTC)
and theyre up ^^
