Zos just added BGs last year and has added more matches this year.
With that and IC being a solid failure it’s unlikely Zos will add a new PvP zone. They cannot even figure out how to drive interest in IC. Making a new PvP zone seems to be a terrible idea.
With PvE you are playing against the content. PvE depends on repeated content and new content.
PvP you are playing agains other players. Changes come when the players adapt so no need for new content. In fact new content could dilute the PvP community causing more harm than good.
There might be a few changes that can be made from time to time changing the dynamics of PvP some but new content isn't the way to do it.
We have Cyrodiil, IC, BGs and Dueling and that's more than enough. How about fixing those and adding new stuff to those instead?

Incorrect. The comment was very relevant. You may wish to consult a dictionary prior to posting.

He said DLC...learn to read..
You know exactly what he meant. Quit diverting. Just because 'Chapters' aren't labeled as 'DLC' doesn't mean it's content suddenly doesn't count. There are BG's, dueling, Imperial City, and Cyrodiil. All four of those things come with their own modes, objectives and playstyles. There is literally nothing more to be had for PVP other than tweaks and improvements. The only way to get a new PVP experience from ESO at this point is to find another game entirely. It's already all here.

I guess battlegrounds didn't happen....

And this is one reason why we don't necro threads, because we have to correct outdated info!
When Morrowind came out, it included the PVP content Battlegrounds. A year later, ZOS made Battlegrounds free base game content for everyone including existing accounts that didnt own the Chapter.
So the Morrowind Chapter was the last, new PVP content that players paid for, with all new maps and BG modes being free upgrades.
Can we let this thread rest in peace, now?
