Was it OK for ZoS to remove abilities purchased with collector's editions?

No, this is no OK, I paid for this ability and want it restored!
... you got the Imperial Race man. Isn't that like the main point of the Imperial Edition?!

That would be like VW during diesel-gate stating that you still have a car even after adjustments to meet emissions regulations. Never mind the fact that you purchased a car with 20 more horsepower and 5 Mpg better fuel economy; you still can drive it right?

I agree with the OP. I paid for the Imperial Edition, and that included the ability to Change almost any item to Imperial Style. It bound that item to my account if I did so, but this was part of what we paid for.

There was no mention in the patch notes of such a change, and quite frankly it is an insult to those of us who have invested in the Imperial (or Morrowind Pre-Order - Convert to Morag Tong) editions of the game.

I think it is wrong that when you get a toon to level 10 you get a free horse, do the rest of use who bought that horse get 10k gold instead as a refund when we hit level 10 on a new toon?

Not to mention those who spent crowns on a starter pack to get a mount.

I couldn't agree more. ZOS seems to forget that people paid money for certain abilities, etc. and to remove it is nothing short of fraud, or something along those lines. It's a minor thing, but the fact remains: We paid for this ability, and you removed it without consent.

Edit. Looks like the interface changed.

    Nothing to add here.

I think you guys are missing the point.

While the OP's poll was a joke of epic proportions, I think it reflects the change of a PAID function.

We PAID for Imperial edition. Anybody can buy the Motif or find it, and therefore craft it at a station.
So what the hell did wee pay for?

I am seriously considering requesting a refund for the Imperial Upgrade and taking is to Consumer Affairs if they deny it, since all I really got extra now was a horse, andd since eveyone gets a free horse at Level 10 now, I have lost something I Paid REAL MONEY for.

This is the OP's point. We paid for something, and they have taken it away. If you bought a new car took it for a service and got it back with no air-con you would be angry. How is this any different?

I think you need to stop crying and realize it’s a game.
Don’t like the changes? Don’t play the game. You still get the DLC, the RACE (which is the biggest reason to buy it) and the Horse.

You still have bonuses others don’t. Before you whine and cry and complain and be a baby about it, realize that you still have more than what others have. Lmfao

Or to sum up your statement: I have nothing to add here as this does not impact or bother me; moving on as I have nothing of substance to contribute.

That existing transformation system was proof that true Transmorgrification, the thing we have been requesting for FOUR years, and what is baked into other MMOs from day 1 was possible. So better from ZOS's perspective to murder it quietly in the night so we don't weep for what could have been. No better time than now when we are distracted by ZOS's pay to outfit system that isn't true transmorg.

to be fair even WoW was around for years before xmog became a thing.

You did get the feature you paid for. It's just that no one said how long you'd get it for. :)
